Nice to see a XD like that. My sister bought an XD and I drove it last night thinking how good of a car it was for the money. Thats what made me look for this video. Its like a little gokart. Start out speed is good until 40 mph but after that it sucks.
Its amazing the Toyota recall didn't affect the Toyota owners in my country, because people in my country don't stack layers of carpeting under their feet like americans do, and then complain there is something wrong with their gas pedal.

@Cookieneedscrown the recall consists of taking out the accelerator pedal and cutting .5" to 1" (depending on model) off of the tip of the pedal. takes 3 minutes. the whole issue with the "recall" was people double stacking all-weather floor mats on top of the stock toyota floor mats, causing the tip of the pedal to "stick" to both sets of floor mats.
Those Scions are definitely fast cars! The Xd is really an economy car, but look at what it can do to a car with more than twice its engine size of a 1.8 liter. Very very impressive. Toyota sure is the #1 builder of high performance cars! The most reliable also!

That information is incorrect. The G35 sedan automatic had 260hp from '03 to '04, and 280hp in 2005-2006. Those were using the VQ35DE engine. In 2007 to 2008, the new G35 Sedan appeared with 306hp using the VQ35HR. For 2009, the G35 Sedan changed only its engine to become the G37 Sedan with 328hp using the new VQ37VHR with VVEL technology. You have your facts completely wrong, hyespeedz is correct.
The G35 sedan was also available with 298 HP in 2005-2006 as long as it was a 6 speed manual... I know you already know this but, it wasn't written in your comment so I just was letting people know who read your comment.

Hands down, if you bolt a Greddy turbo ($6,000 plus) on a G35/G37, you can park next to a 'Vette all you want.

i remember when civics, supras, and all other japanese cars were laughed at. i had a '75 Lemans with a 475+ hp GTO 400 that ran 13.3 with highway gears, and did 115 in second gear (it had a turbo 350). that was in the mid-1980's.
guess what? i grew up and learned to have respect for everything w/4 wheels(except hyundais)

not really. a fresh xd plus a turbo is still less den a used g35. but people have different opinions.
