I know of a 'stylist' right here on youtube who is scissor happy and does nothing but Chop a lot of hair off until it is VERY short.

unless the client asks for a super-short haircut it is not necessary to cut so much off.

I love these instructive videos. My only complaint is when cutting dark hair, PLEASE use a lighter color cape and vice-versa. So much easier to see what's being done with color contrast.

@buzter123 Its not like everyone is going to start cutting their own hair! She is a just a good helpful person. And who knows, Im sure that some people who attempt to do home hair cut will end up in a salon very soon afterwards for emergency fix.

Hi, I have a question: Is there any difference between cutting your hair using the method you outlined which is a section at a time and lower each one to cut it according to the guide versus just combing it all down at once and cutting her hair straight across at the bottom.
