I like the idea but I have a problem with some of your ingredients, namely the Boca Chiken and the Morning Star bacon as these products may use GMO's if they are not specifically labeled organic. I am also a little concerned about the Spectrum canola mayo for the same reason. Otherwise sounds like a good recipe, especially for those who are vegetarian but want to cut down on carbs (bread) and increase their protein.

If one tries to be vegan at least they don't go and eat milk and egg products blatanly, only in really small portions, not on purpose I mean they're still inadvertently supporting the abuse of mother cows and chickens but at least it really lessens their impact in comparison. Look at how many things he used to try to be vegan. I like to give him credit for trying. It's a lot more than a lot of people.

Just because you can eat something, doesn't mean you should.

@zachXbellXrox Some of the ones that melt do use casein, but there are other varieties that don't use casein and hence don't melt as well in heat but are vegan. Perhaps he's using one of those.

@bkshine87 the idea is that it is a substitute for vegetarians. Some people aren't vegetarian by choice, some people are vegetarian because they need the health benefits (i.e. diabetic). Some people, like my friend Helen cannot digest meat protein so it sits in her stomach and intestines and rots and she has to get her stomach pumped. She can't even handle beef broth without getting ill. "fake chicken" and "fake bacon" taste fine to me and they are million times healthier than "real"
