as a foreigner who lived in russia i can say the situation is far worse then shown here...there are many attacks in a small city of Tula where I lived...and it happened every day..sevral times...the authorities are systematically cleaning the evidence and even supporting these gangs.
if you have a choice dont go to russia...if you do stay indoors,russians are a fucking psycho nation with no morals what so ever.

The people always look for somebody to blame during the crisis period. From history we know that in Germany at the beginning of the 20-th century many people blamed in their problems foreigners. Nowadays there is great unemployment and that's why the foreigners are not loved by the native population not only in Russia but in Britain, Germany and other countries.
