@4drViper I guess it depends on your perspective. If they are base models STI starts at 34k and jeep SRT8 starts at 43k. 9k difference is a lot to me and the mods that can be done with that amount of dough would blow the SRT8 away.

i have also raced several other v6 cars as well. 2 of my good friends have an is300 and a TL type s. i raced both of them and from A dig, my altima 2.5 is neck and neck with them until about 80 mph is when the slowly start to pull away. both of those cars have 200+ hp and 200+ torque. theres even videos on youtube of 2.5 altimas beating 3.5 chargers. so i know im not the only one saying four cylinder altimas can beat some v6s.

They have shit load of torque for that big 4L V6 and around 40 more hp + rear wheel drive and 5 speed trans. The older V6s are slower but still no match for the 2.5 Altimas which are SLOW.
i also beat an older v6 mustang by 2 cars so i know for sure that taurus aint shit. theres even a video on here of a 97 v6 mustang barely beating a 2.4 altima with 150 hp. if a 150 hp v6 ford engine can barely beat a 150 hp four cylinder nissan engine. what makes you think a taurus (which are slower than mustangs) is gonna beat an altima with 175 hp. go look at the video yourself "97 v6 mustang vs altima" im sure that 2.4 will take your taurus.
As far as the video with 3.5 Charger. They said they were both stock. Altima ran 10.85 in 1/8th mile. Thats almost what I did last summer in my stock 156HP Taurus. 10.61 sec at 65mph. I still have the time slips from that night.
