The Show is better, better graphics, better mechanics, and just a better recreation of the game. The only plus 2K11 has is the announcers are better.

@MrXb0xPr0 If you have an Xbox 360 or if your a PC gamer then MLB 2k11 is the only option beside the outdated games. If your playing Playstation 3 then MLB 11 The Show is better then 2k. Although I've been playing MLB 2k10 and I also played MlB 10 The Show so taking into the fact that this year's games aren't completely different, I prefer MlB 2k over The Show because with 2k the pitching and batting are eaiser then The Show but I haven't played The Show that much. It's about what you prefer.

I like the look of this, even if the facial animations make them look like they wouldn't be out of place in a waxwork museum. But that is the only thing I can find wrong with it, I'm so glad that it's coming out here in the UK finally as the last Baseball game I played was High Heat 2002 on PS2.. which I still love now. I hope the MLB The Show franchise follow suit as well and not leave the UK fans hanging for another year.

First of I own this years MLB THE SHOW 11 & the only thing MLB THE SHOW does better than 2k11 is in the graphics department/animations and in RTTS mode(is better) which is called "MY PLAYER MODE" in 2K11, but besides that 2k11 is way better than MLB THE SHOW in all the other areas like 1)The Commentary. The commentary in MLB THE SHOW is absolutely atrocious. Is shocking how bad the commentary in this game is..

The commentary in MLB THE SHOW has been recycled for years, it's so bad that you would want to turn off the commentary so you won't have to hear them. 2K11 commentary however, blows the show's commentary completely out of the water... 2k11 commentary is how the show commentary should be, the devs for the show have gotten lazy in this area because they know people will buy the game anyways. Also the analog pitching and batting is a little better than THE SHOW

@GCPlayer82 The show implemented a good analog feature for both hitting and pitching that weren't in their previous MLB THE SHOW but its still a step behind 2k11.. If 2k11 would somehow enhance the graphics to make it look like the show or close to it and fix some minor glitches 2k11 without a doubt would blow MLB THE SHOW out of the water.. But since that hasn't happen, I will give the edge to MLB THE SHOW for being the better game. But not by much, both are great games. So there you have it!!

I thought 2k10 was the start to something good. After playing the demo for 2k11, there are a few small aspects that still bothered me. One solid part of the game is hands down the booth team. But thats not enough to drop $60 on a game that didn't address issues such as stealing (should be a preload function without the pitcher always picking off) and ejections after hitting batters (where's the warnings). I should not be able to hit the entire lineup with no penalty.
