drfool1239 said it right, the online services on the ps3 are free and on the 360 are paid (but not too much, only 50 bucks per year), the ps3 games can be more expensive at some places, since the blu ray disc is more expensive than the regular dual layer dvd

On PS3 is less lag, and you get a Blu-Ray thingie. But X360 is much cheaper , except if you're a online gamer.
