not really good because there are differences on the distances. when you look on the mirror system, the car seems far but in actual view, the car is nearer.

nice but i prefer set camera with zoom monitor i can set near stering wheel and is less distract but more expensive

Mirrors are better, in fact. A lot of concep cars in motor shows have cameras instead of back view mirrors. But still no one of manufacturers use cameras instead side mirrors. Think of it first. There are several problems with cameras (at night, for example).

@Uniaks actually good camera work better in night even mercedes use additional night view camera to show more road side , trough mirror you can see only what your eye can see and cameras are the future
