@jerome3151 Good to hear some common sense. I talked to a guy (youtube) from the PPCLI it seems like a pretty cool unit. I deployed with the big red one(1/16 INF) and third infantry division(1/30INF). Went to Korea with the 2nd Infantry (2/9 INF). I wish I could have done training with CF though.
BTW, rolf, my grandad was a POW of the Japanese in WW2. He was imprisoned (and horribly abused) along w/ American soldiers. There was no distinction. They were all brothers.
And my family has always had a soft spot for the US military; they dropped canisters of supplies toward the end, they came to their aid, no one else. Brothers in arms...

alright i am a US citizen in highschool. i am going to enlist in the navy or the marines as soon as i graduate. i hold a lot of respect for anyone who goes out and risks their life for their country. i respect the canadian soldiers just as much as i respect the US soldiers just for that purpose. a lot of people always argue about who's soldiers aer better. who gives a flying fuck? they both are serving there country and honor them both for that. dont sit on youtube arguing over it.

I am proud of our soldiers and what they think they are standing for but I am ashamed of NATO. I am Canadian and I do not support the actions of the USA or NATO. Go ahead and flame me if you want, I dont care. I'm against this charade in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. Iraq wants to trade oil in euros, gets invaded by NATO (looking for WMD's *cough* BS). Libya wants to trade oil in gold, gets invaded by NATO. Afghanistan gets invaded by NATO, opium production skyrockets. 2+2=4 & NATO sucks.

The reasoning behind this was to prevent mass murder and potentially genocide against the people of Lybia. The Lybian rebels are doing most of the fighting, while we destroy hard targets.

@1muffinmaster actually... in a vast majority of Film production the weapons are Blank firing. However there are some clues to tell that these are not blanks... One they are in Afghanistan, two, the rounds are not crimped, three, they are in Kandahar Afghanistan.
