  • This is the one siren model i have been looking for but can not find it. What year did you get it? They probably discontinued it.

  • i think almost every emergency vehicle in my town has this

  • donde puedo conseguir una caja asii o tu me la vendeess??

  • dose all of that type of sirions display light up, in are ambulance we have the same siren but it dosent light up like that one

  • that sounds like the british sirens :)

  • How much was it?

  • OH SHIT... I SMELL BACON!!

  • Can u use any 100 watt siren speaker with this siren?

  • @firefighter321123 yes. a speaker is a speaker as long as it can take the amount of power you're putting into it.

  • that thing just SCREAMS

  • Best siren ever made. Better than the new one IMO

  • I've been looking all over for this one. where did you get it? if you don't mind me asking

  • where did u get yours

  • what kind of siren are you using??

  • can u record 15 seconds of the wail and 15 seconds of yelp?

  • our patrol cars use this kind of siren and the smart siren....there pretty cool...

  • on my siren there is a grey and white wires. And the instrutions say to connect the white wire to the wire coming from the horn relay. And the grey wire to the wire coming from the horn. just wonder if you siren had this same instrution or if u have those wire connected to anything.

  • that's not to hook up any horn. that's for the horn ring function. it's optional.

  • I don't usually use horn option either but I did when I installed one in a fire engine where the siren was hard to reach. Being able to scroll though the tones with the steering wheel horn made it much safer to use.

  • hey to get the air horn on the siren to work did u have to wire it to your car horn

  • your not making sense. what does your car horn have to do with anything? and there is no air horn controlled by this siren. this siren does have manual electric horn however.

  • I have the gall street Thunder, it's good but this is the best you can have, Whelen 295HF.

  • im gonna be gettin the galls street thunder

  • couldnt help it could ya, the one last air horn at the end

  • This is tight!

  • class

we have these in our fire engines in northern ireland an two tones ....great mix

  • Damn, that's a high pitched siren

  • what color wire is the ones for the rad/radio

  • On my 295SL100 it is the two blue ones.

  • do you know what whelen siren has the dual siren tones? the one on my ambulance has like 2 sirens going at once, but its from 1 siren controller

  • I think its the 295HFS7 or 8

  • iam thinking of getting one of these whelen sirens or a powercall iam not sure yet. I like the olders one like this one then the new one. just my opinion

  • i would get a powercall and a wail siren. great combo.

  • hey i got a question is it a federal crime if your not authorized to have a siren in your car but u still use one lol

  • im not sure about federal but its inpersonaing a police officer so probley

  • it's not illegal at all, u could have a Federal Q on your front bumper and the cops can't do shit unless you use it

  • that's rite !!!

  • Hello,I like police..I'm just asking if you can make make a long demo using your sirens as if were going to an emergency and demos of stopping a car..thnks!

  • send me a message when you did it

  • Yeah I got to see the firetrucks which there station is right beseide the station where all the ambulances are its a block down the road they use Q's and Whelen sirens the whelen is for a backup siren .

  • are the words backlighted?

  • Yes they are I have oprated one of these exept the one I played with was not so high pitched like this one like the guy below you said this one is the older model.

  • this must be an older whelen 295 HF model because of the high pitched

  • Yeah I like the newer ones better .

  • are you a police officer

  • No my dad is a State Trooper he has a Smart siren not a Whelen 295HF100 siren there is an old crown vic that has one of these in it but it is not so high pitched my dad doesn't have a crown vic he has a charger but I hope to become a police officer and my sister in training to be an EMT she is getting to ride in the ambulance now she started in training around August and she told me when I first heard she was going to be an EMT it would be a Year until she would graduate and that will be in may.

  • The newer models are lower pitched than this one is

  • not necessarily. the speaker just could be really close to the cam so it sounds louder

  • how is that possible because there is another video with this model and it sounds lower in pitch

  • nah thee is 2 difrrent hf100 sirens this is the older model one the other one like Pimpala03 is the new ones

  • And i hope i can ride in the ambulance in like a parade or something but she told me that i couldn;t go to a scene or anything like that but I will be glad when she gets done.

  • these sirens are good on ambulances but fire engines they sound strange

  • ya thats true the 92fsha1 sounds better on a fire truck but thats my opinion

  • you think those sirens sound good on a fire engine. I prefer the PA300 siren the fdny use
