fantastic video man, im a DIE HARD dylan fan, is this is my all time favortie album (closely fallowed by bringing it all back home). your review nailed it, great stuff man!!!
Great video! Thank you for sharing! I just added the 180 gram Sundazed mono pressing to my Acoustic Sounds wish list (to be purchased soon). Can’t wait to give it a listen. Thanks man!
Hey great job with the video! It's interesting that i came to this today because for the last two weekends I've gone to the same flea market, and there's a record dealer there, and he has a copy of Blonde on Blonde(I actually bought The Times They Are A Changin from him), and it's the original one, but I keep passing on it at $30, because I'm not sure that I need to throw $30 at that copy just because of the deleted picture, or I should just wait for a later pressing that's cheaper.
Hi. Great Choice. One of my all-time-favourites... Personally I think only highway 61 is a bit better. I've bought a lot of copys of Blonde on Blonde because there are so many different versions.... With different mixes and fade outs, etc... This is an interesiting article about it... rdf.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/BobPart1/BobPart1.htm
Terrific commentary, putting this album in perspective and the anecdotes describing the process made for a compelling video. Thanks for cranking out another cool video.
This is definitely in my top 10. Great record. The songs Visions Of Johanna and Just like a Woman are the songs that turned me on to Dylan Waaaaaay back in the day. The live version of Johanna to be more specific. And yes, the lyrics of that song paint a picture in your mind! Amazing album!
hey Tone,i went through years not really caring for Dylan because it was a bit lite for my tastes and i didn't like the way he sang.now that i'm all grown up and see some of my favorite artists pouring their heart and souls into their music,i realize what Dylan was doing all those years, and i feel he was the best at getting his point across in his music,or at least one of the very best.it took years for me to wake up and smell the coffee, but now that i have it's opened up a whole new world to me
p.s. it was actually Dimebag Darrell, who had a similar Dylan story to mine, who i heard talking about Dylan and the way he made him feel that initially turned me onto him.once i heard a few more songs other than Hurricane, etc and the usual Dylan fare that i realized his power and i haven't looked back! i really like your new videos.
