Used to be one of those up here forever, it had a sign post welded to it at the QCD South end sort. Always wondered what it was, then I finally had time to stop and look one day. Don't know how I missed the "KW" with the letter "C" around it on the radiator! That indicated manufacture in Burnaby, and I understand no more than a dozen were built. It's the same as the Westfall Performer. I found the remains of another one, too, that had a PERKINS engine, of all things! Both are now scrapped.
That is a Kenworth log skidder. It is a skid steer believe it or not, the front wheels only turn a few degrees. It's sitting in Sayward, BC. The owner tells me it still runs and he uses it often for all kinds of things.
I'm sure this is a "Transformer". It wants you to think that it's a lowly skidder when in reality it's really a "108 Washington" on rubber!(;>)!
Looking at the Old Girl, makes me think that the tail might wag the dog a bit!
