Why do people call it a Chevrolet engine? Why not a Buick engine?

Holden and HSV use the LS engines in more models than any other GM brand. It should be called a Holden engine, not a Corvette engine.

@UrTheFakeOne The IRS is not ideal for Drags or Cones plan spending on suspension for one or the other. the LS engine is fine, lots of bolt ons however plan on Aftermarket half shafts around 500hp "sooner then later" the rubber connection on the shafts gives up. Yes I said rubber. Attempt to find a late 05, thats when they first put the word Pontiac on the car & FaKe Hood scoops. It is a non GM import fake PMD GTO dont expect to be accepted by real PMD guys, UAW or real cars guys >:)

I think it's an insult to not only Pontiac and the UAW but also to those smart enough to know it's a fake GTO. Mechanically it's a world class car, tho the IRS might be good at cones it's not so good at drags, and in order to make it a good drag car they made it to "soft" it tens to lumber, bind then spin, good at most master at none.

Yes if it was sold as Holden it would have been fine with me, as well I think it would have sold better then being a poser.
