This isn't actually a hack. Originally cubone and marrowack were suppose to evolve into kangaskong but the motives behind the skull were too disturbing... The skull belonged to the mother and was worn. So they made them two separate pokemon. This created the missing number pokemon. The creators knew people would get into this lost code though, so they actually bother to put effort just to mess up your game to warn of people trying to do this. But at least they gave you something to do.
