  • What happens after this?

  • @wattybabe Unfortunatly that little monster Tracey was found Lol, then if i remember rightly from video i've seen, a sobbing Deirdre tries to chuck herself in the canal, but in the nick of time Tracey is returned safe and sound to her by Emily and Len.

  • Tracy.... where's Tracy? Where's ma ba-bee...?

  • No it's okay, little T grows up to be a little street tart.

  • Some of the dialogue in the following episode dealing with the aftermath was a bit bland, given all the drama! Bet to Len about Alf - "He looks to be trapped!" Len - "He is bloody trapped!" Bet to Betty - "Who's that screamin'?" Betty - "I don't know..." Bet - "Well, see, love!" Alf went a bit funny and underwent a personality change, culminating in him having a go at Annie in the corner shop when she was after a tin of poncey soup (vichyssoise lol!)

  • great acting from jean alexaner and the rest

  • great acting from jean alexaner and the rest

  • TRACY!!! lol..........

  • What on earth was Deirdre doing leaving a child in a pushchair outside a pub anyway? No wonder Tracy went off the rails with a mother like that.

  • @Feisty1967 With mother like Deirdre and father like Ray Langton yes it is no wonder.

  • @MeBenHalpin and a wet liberal as step-father

  • @unclemort1960 Lol Ken wet liberal, that's funny.

  • And Tracys been nothing but trouble ever since.

  • @sofasport it was in the lorry

  • did the baby die???

  • @ThunderClanWarrior11 No. The baby was Tracy Barlow, and we all know how she turned out. Lol!

  • @ramdomerzrule1997 oh yea im kinda new to the show its really good uh yea i h8 tracy anyways

    gow did she get out?

  • @ThunderClanWarrior11 Not sure. She... just did! Lol!

  • @ramdomerzrule1997 lol k i wish she nvr got out lol

  • @ThunderClanWarrior11 I know now! Lol!

Ironically, before the lorry crashed into the Rovers, a weird woman snatched Tracy. Lol!

  • @ramdomerzrule1997 lol i wish she kept her lol

  • @ramdomerzrule1997 Lol Deirdre would be crying even more some 20 odd years later, when she found out what real monster her then 2 year old little tot would turn into.

  • @ThunderClanWarrior11 Sadly no, she's back to cause trouble with a capital 'T'.

  • @ThunderClanWarrior11 Sadly no, she's back to cause trouble with a capital 'T'.

  • @ThunderClanWarrior11 Friend of Deirdre's who was mentally unbalanced took baby Tracey just seconds before.

  • Got this episode on dvd, transmitted 7/3/79

  • Imagine little; Tracy trapped under the lorry with Len Fairclough! NOW THAT IS WORRYING!

  • Well at least Tracy wasnt going upstairs to play her tapes in this episode ! ;p

  • Now read this aloud in a deep, raspy voice: "Tray See! Tray See!" Classic.

  • @TheLizzie12 or to "wash her hands" !!

  • The interior scene in the Rovers' back room must have been shot after the accident scenes, I have the full episode on dvd and Deirdre/Anne sounds quite hoarse enthusing to Annie about the knitting pattern. Think Deirdre befriended the woman who took Tracy when they were in the hospital together, but she seemed a bit odd afterwards, a bit too keen to look after her etc. When she was taken away in a police car, Emily merely shouted after her "You wicked, wicked girl!" Not like doing it nowadays.

  • @FatknackerMacca I think you are correct. Interior scenes are uually filmed several weeks after exterior scenes (not just on corrie), partly for continuity reasons I imagine (if it was snowing for example and a character came through the door, theyd have snow on them, but if the interior scene had been filmed first they wouldnt be able to account for the snow). Unfortunately, where for the most part this works, it occassionally does mean the odd continuity error, as you pointed out. :)

  • @pluto1111777 If they're planning a live episode dealing with the aftermath of the tram crash, the Street could be under 6ft of snow by then lol!

  • @FatknackerMacca lol well if we have a winter like last year they really would have a job! haha its not the best time of year to do a live episode I have to say :P EastEnders narrowly missed being hampered by snow for their live episode in Feb, on the night it was clear, if it had been a day or so or a week or so either way theyd have been in difficulties I think.

  • @FatknackerMacca lol if it had been last year theyd have been in trouble!! haha its not the best time of year to do a live episode lol EastEnders narrowly avoided trouble with theirs, on the night it was clear but it was bad snowy weather either side of it. That was very fortunate, theyd have been in difficulties I think.

  • sh*t !!!

  • was that worth uploading? I could have got my friends to act out something more enjoyable outside my local with a pile of wood and a woman with binoculars on her face.

  • @BNCA70 lol lmao rofl hah ahahaha ha ha hahah ah a nice one lol

  • That cat at 0:15 is still alive!

  • It's a good job that someone had nicked Tracy from where she'd been left

  • aww deardree poor tracys in prision now wont bother getting her out of that xx

  • Must have been a Romanian lorry driver!

  • Come on, that clip was a bit short

  • This is how long the clip is. If I hadn't stopped it there the closing credits would have started. You didn't really miss much.

  • @soapfunclassics

well we could of had the aftermath

  • I remember when they found Tracy, she was sitting on a wall eating a bag of Hankie Pankies.

  • Tracey's just gone upstairs to play some tapes...

  • pmsl!! If I take me thumb out you'll sink Trace LOL!

  • Tracey was quite safe, Uncle Len had taken her for her swimming lessons, lol

  • tracey you dont like owr tracey doo you lol tracey would be 30 now thout she was only 24 i remeber this episode thik emly come round coner wit here wat ever lol

  • At least the hid the hands out of shot the threw those planks of wood.. lol

  • I remember this I was horrified I was 9 at the time

  • I met the second Tracy once, she was with her parents and staying at a school friends parents hotel.

  • The lorry driver was sent from the future to kill tracy barlow so that the future saviour of the world charlie stubbs would survive.

  • the fuckin Tracy scream lol XD 0.47 reason i gave 5 stars

  • @AgentSpeed92 LOL was that Tracey 'screaming' after Deirdre shouts first time? Sounded more like some kind of pathetic bugie tweeting noise, LOL!!

  • i remember this one very well, i half expected len to come around the corner with the pram and say "ecky thump" it was lucky i decided to take the baby from the front of the pub and put her in my yard for 5 minutes

  • Didn't Tracey also end up in the canal at one stage?

  • Haven't you got the part after this ?

  • Dear old Doris Speed as Queen Annie Walker. They don't make soap stars like that any more...

  • I remember this one, Tracy was never found and it turned out some nutter ran off with her moments before the lorry hit.

  • so tracey was neva found

  • Dierdre's anguished cries for Tracey are really quite heart-rending
