Northwest SUCKED!!!! The last time I flew NWA was in 2005, during the Flight Attendant strike, and it took them 10 minuted to fix a mechanical problem, but it took 4 hours to find three FA's that were willing to work, and the customer service reps didn't give a rat's ass.

this is a beuatiful and simple commercial, what are they supposed to say - sorry our planes were hijacked and that thousands of people died...that would be stupid and unnecessary. they dont say thank you for coming back because that would say " hey we are still weak but thanks anyway." no they say welcome back with a short simple commercial. they say thanks in a way that is full of pride and reserved emotion.

These were truly great commercials--a tribute to the people of United Airlines, to Errol Morris (the great documentary film maker responsible for directing this series of ads), and--and this is what really packs the wallop--to the best of what Americans in general can be. If anything good came of 9/11, it was that indescribable feeling of awareness and love for fellow citizens. These commercials reawaken that feeling instantly. They're little works of genius.
