Interesting, I killed Mr Burke right at the start of the game because I told the sherrif about him, burke killed the sherrif and then tried to kill me so i dispatched him. I love the decision making aspects of this game, no 2 games are ever the same.

@lrb662003 i didn't kill him, but I told the sheriff and burke killed him. I tried to do the right thing and todd howard shoved some horrible consequences down my throat. I felt horrible running into the sheriff's son (so innocent)...haven't played the game through yet, but already loving the dialogue and choice options. I loved oblivion, but I hope they carry that kind of decision making over...

@hmoob7 na its pretty clever if you know what youre doing. I simply kill everyone in megaton, take any awesome clothes/weapons (like the sheriffs duster), raid their shops and then blow it up. Thats the way to do it lol

After the game, if you beat it, before the last quest, if you go back to Megaton, Moroia gives you the Shrapnel gun that's the only one in the whole map. Insane gun. So it's stupid to kill the residents.

whenever i play this game, i can't refuse things like helping butch, or disarming the bomb. why the bomb? becuase. when i found out what happens to Moira i nearly cried. such an innocent, happy-go-lucky person completely fucked up. I completely erased that save and i have always disarmed the bomb since.

@MrCommentcritic I agree, man. But I like the fact that she survives the blast. I think you can even convince her to set up shop in the ghoul's Underworld. I don't know about that for sure, though. My character that I used to blow up Megaton with didn't know about the Underworld, so I didn't have that conversation choice. She still lets you do the quests that she gives you, though. XD

i have good karma and i was standing right outside rivet city when 7 talon company mercs attacked me i thought i was goin to die suddently to regulaters showed up and they killed 5 of the talon company mercs but they died and the rivet city security cleaned up the rest of the mercs then i checked the bodies on a talon company merc i found a note that was saying kill xkan i was all like wtf then i cheked the regulaters there was written they were supposed to protect me. Regulaters FTW.

Well i told the Sheriff and then Burke tricked the Sheriff and shot him in the back then i could have had the mercs come after me and let burke live but i didn't mercs come on you depending on your Karma. Disarm = Good = Talon Company Mercs. Detonate = Bad = Regulator - Bounty Hunters. Netural = none come after you.

I dunno bout that but in the game. No matter what you do, you'll always have people coming after you. The only exception is when you have neutral karma.

Bad Karma = Regulators attacking you

Good Karma = Talon Mercs attacking you

Either way you'll get attacked.

if lucas gets killed, you can kill burke, and get lucas's keys. and get the bobblehead from his house

There is a way where neither burke or lucs die and you still get the keys to a house in megaton. Just disarm the bomb by using mentats or if your skill level is high enough. You dont get to kill burke. Dont give lucs the pusle charge or he will confront burke and die. Just disarm the bomb and go back to lucs, Youll get the keys to a new house and burke will go back to wherever the hell he came from.
