I really like Tom's voice. He sounds like he's contributing to the instrumentation, and his delivery doesn't feel forced. It's a nice rounded tone. Spencer's a great singer no doubt, but I kinda feel he sings on top of the music rather than as part of it. Spencer's versatility is impressive as hell though.

I like this song for the most part but I'm a purist in ways and believe the guitar should take a back seat when the vocals are in expressive parts instead of what seems to be crowding the vocals out at times;I'm a guitar player and have been for 25 years and this is what I believe and I've played everything from death metal and prog to jazz fusion.Misha is a smart guy and will work the bugs out and in my observation that's the big flaw in this song guitar crowding,it happens.

Hey this is Tom from Periphery. First of all this is one of the very first things I ever wrote and recorded for vocals, it is AUTO TUNED AS SHIT! It was recorded very fast and was only ever meant to be a demo of the ideas. Some of your lyric guesses are right but there are some mistakes , for instance, it is "one divine in pure creation", lame I know. A lot of it is gibberish though and was meant to be fleshed out later when I had time to work on it.

Tom does indeed have a beautiful voice, I vastly prefer his vocals to half of Periphery's actual frontmen (Spencer and Casey are gods though)

Although I was so pissed off about the departure of Casey, that year before they found Chris gave us this gem... And "Eureka" - which has now been re-recorded with Spencer... but both songs showed just how talented Tom really is. I really wish he would take a crack at doing live harmonies with Spencer. The new backing tracks that they use are fine and all, but live voices would mean so much more.
