Well I seen byrne live about 5 years ago and he did sing a lot of talking heads songs. And that concert was one of the best concerts i have ever been to.
The song's lyrics tell of a civil insurrection in the USA (the cities Houston, Detroit and Pittsburgh are mentioned by name) with the singer commenting on various activities involving an apparent guerrilla movement. The singer laments that due to having to live underground, he can't go to night clubs. A phrase from the lyrics, "This ain't no party / This ain't no disco", became a catchphrase in the Punk Rock and New Wave music genres.
pure class act.. Will all the recent reformation of 80's bands its about high time that these guys reform as they really were the seminal outfit at the time. Better musically than the Police, Blondie,Genesis and all those other 80's bands that have reformed for 1 last time!!
Coyrnwall loves you..everythings ready to roll.xxxx

Around this time, back in the era, I knew, David Byrne was going other artforms, in other words, I knew he was not done, yet.

It's all about the artists (RISD) and by some good eye producer, J.Demme, brought this artistic group to where they should be at the time.

The accomplished (sp) artist sings. More to it than just a song. Tough work, dealing to get your song played back in the day.

The non heads footage is annoying as hell.
