Did you know you can win £5000 of Nikon gear in our film competition as well as an all expenses paid trip to meet Hollywood filmmaker Paul WS Anderson?
I just got this camera a little while back. Its just freaking awsome. Totally worth the money. Amazing quality and capability. THis video was very inspirational about what can be accomplished with the right imagination.
BTW...does anyone know which is the lens the "FILMING D90" uses in this video? its definitely not the 18-105 as you can see a different hood.
A very inspirational video for someone, like myself, that has purchased this kit and has not received it yet. This seems to be a great camera. I used to have the top of the line Pro 35mm Nikon F-3HP and the F-4s when I photographed weddings. I just hope the D-90 can handle a mild bit of abuse until I can afford the D-700. Anyone have any hardcore experience with this machine please, let me know what you think. I live in southeast Mississippi and the humidity is brutal during the summer months.
I've had my D90 for months now. Took it to England during the "big freeze", and this beast got through rain, snow, cold weather, and I live in a tropical country so I'd say it withstood the humidity too. It got knocked around sometimes too. But this lil bugger stayed strong. Seriously, sometimes ppl underestimate this beast. Enjoy your D90. ;)
i have a d90 and love it , would have prefered the d300 for the waterproof body and extra frames a second , but this is a great camera check out my nikon pitures for example
I have a d60. I also have a 18-55 vr and a 55-200 vr. Do you think it would be better to buy the d90 without the kit lens and keep my 18-55 and 55-200 or just pay 300 bucks more and get the 18-103 vr kit?

Jessops are a disaster. Lost my £2000+ order 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting.
No customer service.
Nobody cares.
Just 'call centre air heads' who want to get off the phone as fast as possible. A week to answer emails!. No compensation.
They wonder why people are flocking to Amazon etc.
They'll be out business again in 12 months and wonder what went wrong.

Im so in love with this beauty. I've had it for almost 4 months now. But why does everoyone nagging about 18-103 mm VR, is it not 18-105 VR?
Any how, this is a GREAT camera.

I have this camra and its really great!!! I love it. I love th D3000 and D5000 as well. You know a photographer can never have too many cameras. :)
GodsArtist33 2 years ago
out of d3000, d5000, and d90. Which one do you think would be the best upgrade from a d60?
904SF 2 years ago
probably the d90
although the d5000 has the video as well and the changeable screen position which is useful for difficult angles

D90 > D5000 > D3000
