They are adorable. The only problem with Siamese cars is that they have loud and sometimes deep voices! Apart from that, and if you can live with loud cat noises, they are really wonderful.

Motorboat Purr! I thought i was the only one who used that term. My Shang was a beautiful male seal point who's purring was this loud as well. He also was extremely vocal & would literally yell/holler out for attention. He finally passed a month ago just weeks shy of 21. He was just like a dog as he followed us around everywhere & talked to us continuously. Siamese/Tonkinese cats are totally unique & beautiful.

I had a siamese like that too! He was so deaf he'd walk around yelling for attention while we were all trying to call out to him. Silly old coot. He died just after he turned 21.

You're not completely wrong.

Siameses (and more generally orientals) are smarter than regular cats, and have quite a different behavior. It's actually quite far from normal cats, in my perception.

Although I never owned any of hybrid cats like Bengal and Savannah, I also expect different behaviors from them.

@PhotonicDrop I have found that they are very different from your average cat, much smarter, more loving (which I like), more talkative (which I also like). I am so blown away by the new siamese, and the oriental shorthairs, sheer beaut y, I do not particularly like the looks of the applehead siamese, they are just not as exotic looking. This cat is beautiful.

This is adorable. Whats also funny is that i have a half-siamese who is named Cosmo. Although he is black, that is the only "half" part of him. He takes after his mom in his facial structure, and though his mom is very well tempered and polite, nearly never making noise unless she needs something, my male got the "loud-never-shut-up-unless-the­y-get-what-they-want" trait of the siamese.
