i went to a spring in puslinch southern ontario yesterday. the water was sooo good (ph 6.7, TDS 274-383, no cloroform or ecoli, and there weren't any partially-visible floating things like you see in tap water or bottle water). the water defies gravity, comes UP outta the pipe, and flows strong out the cut in the pipe right above a creek. and it is delicious water.
wow, lucky you!!... I wish I could have some of that yummy water! Can you tell me if you know of a free spring like that in the Antelope Valley in California by any chance?? or how to find it...I have been trying since 2 weeks to find any spring Water...and nothing...Its frustrating!
Please please tell me if you know of any spring in the Antelope valley Ca erea!!!.. I kind find any and I am getting very frustrated about it.... I so want to stop having to drink tap-water...please help me...how can I find this in my erea???
Hey I have spring water on tap where live...you'd love it, we shower with it and wash our clothes and homes with it...water our gardens....people come from different towns and bottle it to take home....one of the very few places that does...I feel like I can't move from here just because the waters so great hahahaha
I get all my water from a Bear Lithia spring in Elkton VA. After filling the container you can hold it up to the sun and there is nothing floating around in it. Just cool, clear, refreshing water. And best of all.. it's free. Do you think it is OK to use plastic milk cartons to get the water or should I switch to glass containers?
I started drinking nothing but spring water about a month ago and I love it, I'd probably go through that in a week or less just for myself... looks great tho! cheers. :)
I love spring water,.. I get it from a bottled water company,.. (no springs YET,.. but) the guy said that if I leave the bottles out in the sun, bacteria grows exponentially, like green stuff on a pond :(
For all those people concerned about the water safety, this is no different than drilling a well. Many people drink well water at home. The only difference in these springs is that they are naturally flowing to the surface.
I'm so delighted to have clorine-free, fluoride-free water for drinking and cooking!! Thanks again for clueing me in!
This is so awesome! I never imagined I'd find one here in MN. But someone told me about a local spring when I told her I only drink out of glass and stainless steel bottles.
Sure enough, only 10 miles from my home is a beautiful underground spring that has been piped; but also a foundation was built to set your bottles on.
On the day I went with all my GLASS bottles, I was the FIFTH car in line!
Thank you so much for enlightening me on the purest most delicious and healthy water ever!
My son is going to see STS9 in Asheville on St. Patty's and I think I've convinced him to go get me some water. I hope the spout is near the winding stair gap sign. Thank you Phillip, this is great!
From a brief read on Wikipedia, it sounds like Giardia lamblia shouldn't be a concern as long as you're only getting water from cold, fresh sources. In fact based on the comment about resistance to conventional water treatments, maybe spring water is safer than municipal water!
A friend took me to a running spring water fountain in "Dark Canyon" near Oroville California. Amazing stuff. Soooooo much better than tap or filtered.
I think its quite apparent that this water does come out of the ground, springing up into the base of the mountain, and running downhill, without pressure being added, through a pipe for convenience. It is coming out on its own. I mean sure, you could find a bubbling puddle in the middle of the forest somewhere but you may be hard pressed filling and carrying 200 lbs of water through the woods.
I would say this sounds like a great idea at the base but who really knows what kind of debris is comeing down that mountain. I probably dont understand whats going on here but seems a bit risky. I wish we had running springs in vegas....Im gonna have to search.
How can I find this spring?
I live close to ashville north caroliner thx

this is great!!! I have one question: How close is the highway or road to this? Doesn't the exhaust from the car effect this spring?
ginahctsun 2 years ago
It goes right from the ground, through the pipe, to my bottle. Not much time to catch any pollution. B

Thanks for sharing. Be careful of catching Giardia lamblia from water that has not been boiled. Rare but possible.

purest water is distilled. Tap water being that it is purified and regulated by the govt (before coming into our homes) isn't soo bad.
Spring water seems to have too many unknown variables for me. But isn't everything a personal decision :)

the best water comes out of a pipe ?????????????
what?
i don't think so,
the best water comes up out of the ground on it's own,
how can a pipe be natural?
it took a week to find a pipe?
wow, sorry bout that,
but on the right track, the water is magic

There are ways to test it out. I will do a post on the testing method in the future.
