  • I AINT NO TRADER DAM IT!

  • jeje... nice!

  • pharmacist and physicians study almost the same amount of years !

they are both experts in what they do ..while physicians are doctors of medicine, pharmacist are doctors of pharmacy ..you can't say that someone is better then the other , because while someone's expertise is diagnosis , the other's expertise is medicine and drogs ..they complete each other !

and with all do respect to nurses , there's absolutely no sense what so ever comparing pharmacists to nurses !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • STAT

  • lol

  • just little bit respect ....U_U

  • Sig: Listen to this song every day as needed

  • i'm two months away from graduating and becoming a pharmacist and every one is telling me stories on how we are not respected in the work field and how doctors refuse to take our advise despite the fact that it is for the patient's benefit !!

  • Love it!!

  • ha ha ha...i can relate to that

  • If people only knew how many mistakes we catch that would kill you. I've worked retail

and hospital. If that's not bad enough, try to rush us while we have your life in our hands. For more funny videos search Pharmacy Staff Meeting, Meth Head Mary, or Crack Head News (vol I-IV) to get an idea of what we have to deal with. Even if you learn nothing, you may pee yourself laughing.

  • Stool Softener in the middle of Code Blue... lmao

I sometimes find this job hilarious esp when dealing with doctors who think they know everything about medications, when in fact they only know very little, and start doing FUNNY things with their med orders XD

  • I love my Pharmacist, she's my wife afterall ;)

  • @KanjoosMakhinchoos STAT is the sig code for "immediately" or "right now"

  • I work at a hospital that asked me to document all the doctor mistakes that I correct so they can address any pattern of mistakes. At the end of the month we had a few hundred documented mistakes made by MD's that we corrected. The hospital was alarmed at the number and asked us to "make sure the number of interventions handed in and documented does not exceed 100 per month" because the hospital will look really bad! We still correct many mistakes...just not document all of them.

  • Search for "Coumadin Rap Song" for another funny pharmacy video on youtube! Thanks )

  • hahaha this vid. but what is stat? or however its spelled.

  • @speechless00 Stat is the medical slang for "fast" or "quickly".

  • @speechless00 stat means immediately

  • she never took the doctor from the beginning off of hold. what a cunt

  • I am currently taking dip in pharm, pls respect us as the nurses and doctors keep showing the anti face towards us

  • Something pharmacists should keep in mind... People don't know what you know, they don't see what you see, they don't feel what you feel, they haven't studied and endured what you have, so why take the criticism personally. Shrug it off, because they have no idea what they're talking about, apparently. Do what you do, help the people, and get paid. Remember to smile! =]

  • hahaha this is hillarious!!!!

    What a life....

Pharmacists do really need more respect STAT!!!

  • good

  • The reality is when it comes to medicines and drug interactions the pharmacist is the expert and not the doctor.

  • This is retarded, but very funny.

  • @theunraveler oh i think ur opinion is fault

  • After working as Pharmacy Director at a hospital I can say that no one understands how complex our job is. I have examined the pharmacy profession in Canada and realized that the way our profession is looked at there, is completely different. I have sent my application for equivalency and will be moving out there soon.

  • Awesome! lol

  • lol very nice.

  • Funny thing is that I've heard that pharmacists make excellent doctors.

  • this is great!

  • Love it, love it!!!

  • Yes, we, pharmacists, need more respect!!!!

  • EPIC lol

  • LMAO!! This is dead on!

  • This is so true!!!

Some people should realise that working as a team could save your _ss.

Anyway, I have seen some nice nurses and doctors. They are exist!!!

  • doctors dont even know all the drugs..how can they prescribe properly w/out the pharmacist's advice?..

  • "Remember, in the world of medicine, the doctor is king!" :D

  • Yet so many act like the jester....

  • wow, i can't believe how accurate this is!

  • hahah five stars!

  • This video is right on. Very funny.

  • that is one fit pharmacist!

  • It's a hilarious video!

  • i'm a dispensary tech and this video is <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 !!! hahahlove it!

  • One should recgnize other's qualification.

  • I love it! =)

  • The clinical pharmacist is related to the pharmacology of drugs while the physician is related to diagnosis, so if that doctor in the movies said that he is the king ,that is right he is the king of diagnosis, so also the pharmacist is the king of pharmacology, so that doctor must not interfere in pharmacology work as pharmacist must not interfere with diagnosis ,every one must know the border of his her job , thank you all

  • Or... people put should these things aside and work as a team.

  • Absolutely.... each profession should practice within their own scope of practice! Each professional person is important

  • i love this, shows exactly how people treat us in our job...

  • Really?

  • Magic Bullet PR x1 STAT

  • STATSTATSTAT...lots of suppository stat. "Would you like me to tell you where to put it?" lol!

  • I have to play this for my co-workers. So many homes treat us like dirt because we are the pharmacy. The only people that get hurt in the Pharmacy vs Doctor/Nurse war is the patient.

  • So true!

  • lol It's funny and true

  • In Poland we have the same problem... all over the world :)

  • but you know wat guys in reality pharmacists work are relly hard you know,, and some doctors thinks that they are the gods and doesn't want to admit that sometimes their medication orders are really have mistakes by drug drug interaction and its really hard to deal with them..hehe

  • @monitochinito23 actually, the doctor is king and can make mistakes. but if the doctor makes mistakes, let them deal with it.

  • If only every body doing pharmacy is as optimistic as that women.

    Great vid nonetheless :)

  • Haha, so true. What optimism?

  • Looking back at this video again, I think enthusiastic would be a more appropriate word

  • hahaha funny video..;D but w/ sense STATSTATSTAT orders LOL

  • this is very warst to see because we have never seen this type of video ok

  • Hmm.. I suppose where I've been, the pharmacists have been treated with most respect, even the most senior consultant would look up for the clinical pharmacist during ward round for their advice. And normally, the pharmacists where I was working - have really good fashion sense.. all of the girls are really pretty!

  • The nurses' faces look so funny!

  • Ha! I love this video. We had to watch it in a class we had last year when we were learning about what clinical pharmacists do. It's funny. :) I can't wait until I'm done with school. 2 more years!

  • Thanks for uploading this vid!!! This really help my School Project: Respect!!!

  • LOL, this should be mandatory viewing for all students who think they are going to make big bucks. STAT.

Ps: my sis is an RN, they actually have it worse.

  • LOL. I am a pharmacist and it was so funny! :D

  • I'm never gonna dispense anything stat. You're all gonna have to wait 2 hours with me.

  • as a med student i will make sure im not an ahole like dr in this video

  • i'm a nurse, i'll give you guys some respect :-) i love the pharmacist that works with us, she's awesome

  • wtf yo its a laving. my moms studying that, just think when your eighty and need pills then you'll have to rely on them so id shut up if i were u

  • lollll brrrrrooom closet

  • This is hilarious! I'm glad to say that the relationship between pharmacists and doctors has significantly improved in England over the last few decades.

  • i loved this!!! i have been a retail pharmacist for 14 years and i really needed a good laugh.

    thanks again,

    stephanie

  • put the suppository PV :D

  • Comment removed

  • like it..

  • 2:20

  • what's wrong with you?

  • I'm a pre-reg, don't know what the fuck to do wit this video though.

  • ugh this is so true... pharmacists dont get the respect they deserve

  • Pharmaceutical industry and FDA Endangering your health for profit, Google, (Pharmaceuticals medicines one killer,) It should be the third one down on the list. eighth one down Health/ conventional medicine is now the number one cause of death.

Learn this when training to be an upper cervical specific doctor.

Duff Method, a great way of measuring patents progress, and the use of the Tytron infrared scanner is good to learn how to use it in conjunction with the Duff Method.

  • what the hell are u talking about

  • im a pharmacy student....and yeah i agree,pharmacists deserve RESPECT....=)

    stat!xD

  • no, its worse in retail

  • I work in retail pharmacy as a cashier and I thought that was bad. is it even worse in the hospital?

  • its not just pharmacists everyone is treated like this in a hospital

  • amen... GO PHARM D'SSSSSS

  • Haha, I am a pharmacy worker in training and I hate it when people get all stuck up about us being 'low educated' or something. Talk to me again when your stomach aches and you're helpless! muha!

  • Well, pharmacy worker isn't a PHARMACIST, To become a pharmacist you need a 5 year degree and extremely good grade to get into... We have to draw a line between pharmacist and the rest

  • I agree, but we're all still human and we have all put effort into what we do (true, pharmacists have studied much more) :)

  • it's actually a 6 year program now. =/ It is hard though, and most common people think all we do is count pills. trust me no one would put themselves through this just to count pills lol.

  • pharmacy worker? wtf get a pharmD and then u can complain

  • You learn to spell and then you can boss me around, okay? ;)

  • Nothing in my message was spelled incorrect.

  • ... pharmacy worker?? who the f#$% said that trash?

  • Oh! Go tell them girl! R-E-S-P-E-C-T~

Seriously, how ignorant can people be? Do they think that we've studied for at least five years about subjects that they can't even pronounce and say that all we can do is dispense over-the-counter drugs? Hello~ we are like, Drug Lords. XD lol We know our medicine.

    This vid is just -awesome-

  • I've been working in a inhouse pharmacy for 20years, and the nurses never give us any respect. NOW, I NEED IT NOW. So we tell them to come down and pick it up. WHAT I HAVE TO COME DOWN. lol

  • hey people, i'm studying pharmacy in australia (two years now)! i like this vid, pretty cool stuff. it's so daggy but awesome.

  • yes, exactly! most shallow-minded ignorant people don't know the role of pharmacist..

So, next generations pharmacist, do your best to be a cut among the rest.

Pharmacy is a one heck of a difficult subject! i knew it because i am.. he3

  • This is hilarious. I am a pharmacist and I think the pharmacy profession is still trying very hard to earn "respect."

  • One of the best videos on the profession of a pharmacist I have ever seen. Everyone needs to treat others with respect. Going to college for 7-8 years is a long time and the knowledge learned is not used to its full extent. I really enjoyed the 3 gentleman from the DEA, etc. The song is great too.

  • which movie is this from?? its too freaking funny

  • Why do you go to a grocery store pharmacist then? They usually suck there.

I stick to my local pharmacist with his own store. That guy probably knows my health better than my doctor. And he's a lot cheaper ;)

  • This is an old family favorite of ours. My father is a pharmacist and brought this video home from a convention about 15 years ago. I love this classic!

  • I'm a Pharmacist with a PharmD degree that graduated 2 years ago. I've worked with nice, professional physicians and shallow minded ones! I've seen how different and professional the pharmacy practice overseas VS. the states...Patients call you with your title there (Dr. if pharmD) cause we worked hard to earn it..some MDs don't know what PharmD is..We don't have to explain cause WE ALREADY PROVED OURSELVES getting that degree..

Be proud,we are HIGHLY educated well paid drug experts

  • the same things happen also across europe..we studied but most people ignore that..for example here in greece there are cases where pharmacies give cash to patients in order to have their prescriptions!!!Is this the reason i have studied for five years?

  • Oh..I find that being especially nice to the pharm. folks usually gets me what I want much quicker!

And, that video is funny as hell!

    Barkleydog, RN

  • STAT rules!!! HAHAHA :)

  • I agree some nurses and doctors thinks that pharmacists are some kind of vending machines, do the things fast. Most doctors only want what they prescribe and the brands they want. The nurses orders stat meds even it is not stat. They just forget to request it on time so if the patient already need it they want it stat.

  • isn't that the truth! same with patients too. my father in law told my husband he couldn't understand why it would take an hour to count 16 pills. I'm glad I wasn't with them when this happened or i would have given him the same third degree he gives his son.

    Katbird27, CPhT

  • i cant understand but give rating

  • RN and LPN .... they are so mean to us pharmacy people .... i hate them ....

  • i'm sure you're right. i can understand when md's are cocky but when the patients at the pharmacy say "well I'M A NURSE!" when we tell them their prescription is not covered or their vicodin is 25 days too soon it makes me laugh every time.. anyone who has to say what their profession is to gain approval from or control others is insecure.

  • Clever! Yes, these things really do happen...well, except for maybe the singing and dancing.

  • Give me a break girl...are you for real? You would not believe the obscure questions we get...and we are supposed to cough up the answer like we know it like the back of our hand. We are specialists...but we are generalists, too. Pharmacy is not just knowing the answers, but knowing where to look for the answer. So, get over yourself. Problem with medicine is that most think they know more than the other guy...

  • yea, doctors DO think they're the shit. so not. so rude, esp. the ones in BH.

  • LOL I love it very cool.

  • where can i find the song lyrics?

  • i am a pharmacy student and yes,,i also encountered such doctors..they think they know everything about medicine..but then its our job...i also encountered doctors who prescribe drugs with wrong doses...we are the druggists and are said to be the experts on drugs ayt?

    whew...

  • i hate how the technician is portrayed in this video: mindless soul filling any script he could get his hands on. we're more valuable than filling and filing.

  • no, we're not.

  • I am a pharmacist and yes technicians sometimes get active and sometimes we dont find them active ..lol

  • OMG! that was sadly true. been a pharmacist for 17 years. work in a clinic.... I encounter roughly 7-10 prescribing errors a day! while I totally admit that i am no medical doctor, doctors need to learn that they are not pharmacists. the average dr had one or 2 classes in drugs while in medical school. they may be experst in diagnosis, but not in drug therapy. with the medical field advancing so rapidly in all directions we need to work as a team.

  • I agree with you completely! Medical professionals need to work as a team in order to treat the patient the best.

  • Maaaan alll u lot r lame, dont u get the vid?? Its takin the pisss, N yes am doin a pharmacy degree. Depressed already, doctors gonna treat us like shit, oo well community boredem here i come!! Get paid son!!!

  • I am a pharmacyst, doctors think they know it all but they r wrong: We r the medicines experts!

  • kendobad, wrong ans. that is the sig for diflucan which in translation of 1qd stat is take this tablet now.

  • Hi kendobad. Actually, stat does mean immediately. I think the interpretation of "at once" may be sometimes confusing - e.g. "Be in my office at once" is equivalent to "Be in my office stat." Stat doesn't actually refer to a quantity / entirety. Do a search on a medical dictionary online and you'll find the definition, if you'd like to be certain.

  • stat medical term....

adverb: with no delay, at once

    adjective: immediately....

am i right just correct me if i'm just mistaken....

  • hey tyeloy. yes, you are correct.

  • stat means....

adverb: with no delay, at once

    Adjective : Immediately

  • I'm studying at School of Pharmacy, London. Stat means immediately. Take whole medicine at once would most likely mean o.d (Once daily)

  • no, o.d. is when it's too late!! you mean qd which is once daily :-p just had to share :D

  • Stat comes from the Latin "statim" which means immediately and it's the medical shorthand for an urgent request.

  • do they make alcohol sopositories?

  • I LOVE IT!!!!! BEST VIDEO EVER!!!

  • I'm finishing up pharmacy school myself and wanted to say best of luck to those in the PharmD curriculum now. It's doable!! This video cracked me up. I've had more pharmacotherapy training in the last 2 weeks of class than most physicians get altogether (they don't even have interactive therapy based courses in med school). People will never appreciate us, but I'm happy at the end of the day when I know my intervention saved some lives that day. Only we can change the future of our carrer!

  • Its so true. I am also pharmacy student. Nobody recognises us as experts in drugs. Doctors dont know as much abouth drugs as wee do. In this field we are more competent than they are.

  • *Team Pharmacist!!!*

  • what does "STAT" mean

  • STAT is an abbreviation of the Latin statim, meaning "immediately"

  • holy crap i'm working retail now, but is this how it's gonna be when i go to hospital?

but...it can't be worse than retail, can it?

  • I`ve worked in retail and hospital pharmacy... I prefer hospital to retail.

  • I'm a future pharmacist as well and working currently as a pharmacy student and MY GOD --- those irritating patients and nurses and ignorant doctors just peeve me off! AHHH!

  • I'm a pharmacy tech, and this is soooo funny..... when you delay the patient's time in trying to help them, all you get is crap !!! Don't they value us that we have their health and well-being as first priority? It will NEVER change...I enjoyed this video :)

  • Pharmacy school is going to be cool.

  • Im a pharmacy tech and this is way too funny!!

  • Where do you work as a tech?

  • haha Isn't it great being addressed as "Pharmacy"?

  • im a future pharmacist....haha!! i love this vid!! tnx 2 u

  • this is perfect for hospital. I saw one once for techs, but it was retail based!

  • Oh hell!! Give me some respect.LOL

  • CRACKE me UP! (especially the feds/badges needing to 'see your records!' UGH!)

    VERY well done!

  • I think I'll be using this song in my first day of work... Pharmacy here I come! Respect!

  • I like this vid

    Im from Thailand

  • nice vid... 4 me as a pharmacist it meant a lot 2 me... it tells me how important pharmacist in the field of Medicine...

  • STAT haha, love it!

  • This is really nice! I would like to commend those involved here...you have captured it as it is... from then till now!
