The fact that the untouched/unregulated computer industry has exploded into an economy only third to energy production and the military...
And yet John Tory is being given grief over suggesting that this same amazing sector (Private) can help SAVE CANADIAN LIVES.
The Liberals seem to imply this somehow makes John Tory unfit to govern. But if they consider it wrong for government to hire private clinics to provide publicly-funded health services more efficiently, at lower cost and in a more timely manner than government providers, does that mean they plan to nationalize doctors and shut down their "private" practices if re-elected?
It is hard to have a real debate about the future of public health care with such demagoguery.
