you only have to download software once, not every time. Just wait till Sony has their new WIFI reader out, it will extinguish all of the arguments, as Sony can do what the kindle does but gives you access to way more stores. Then hopefully sony will put it onto it's other readers too.
This is such a blatant kindle propaganda advert. So let's talk, sony reader is smaller, kindle text to speech is hardly a "buying point". Sony's bookstore "has fewer titles", maybe it does but unlike kindle you aren't just tied to one store. Yes you have to use a USB cable but if you use your computer anyway it's not a big deal, it also says you have to download software, I have installed from the reader sony's software and downloaded an adobe software for an ebook I bought but......
