I actually used tomato WITH lemon juice and added a little buttermilk to make a facial cleanser. I just applied it my face and washed it off after 15 minutes. It's been 4 days now and I only used it twice, and my scars lightened up SO much! I REALLY recommend this!! I got this trick from a tutorial by Bubzbeauty ^.^

First off, drink a minimum of 4 glasses of water a day. Use a lemon cut in 8 pieces. use 1 piece every 2 nights. And also, eat lots, and lots of pineapple. Yes you have read right, pineapples. Hmmm Interesting, I tried lemon juice recently cause I've been breaking out badly lately didn't really see a difference but I guess I haven't gave it enough time, I stopped after the 3rd day cause I though it was weird rubbing lemon juice on my face lol might go head and try it again though, the reviews on lemons and acne are really good :)

I think a lot of people get "acne scars" mixed up with hyperpigmentation. "Hyperpigmentation" is discoloration; "acne scars" are indentations in your skin that are the result of acne. I know lemon will get rid of "hyperpigmentation" because it has a bleaching effect, I don't know if it will get rid of "acne scars"-the indentations on the face.

I tried it and it really worked but i used honey with lemon and made a mixture...the black heads were on my noes disappeared after leaving it for like 20 min ...but please use lemon instead of the Lemon Juice in the bottle ..the Reason i added honey cause it reduce the itching and burning of course it will itch for a lil while but after then u won't feel nothing ...Good luck :)

If you use lemon juice PROPERLY it will not damage your face, believe me i have been doing it for months and it has brightened my skin like you would not believe. It makes your skin so soft and lovely.Perhpas niklaswow used some kamikaze methods or put it on already damaged skin, don't let other peoples experiences deter you. Do your research like i did- Yes it is an acid but to say it damages skin is just ridiculous, does it damage your mouth if you eat it?

stuff from your kitchen can really do wonders for your skin! my fave ingredients are lemon, sugar, honey, yoghurt, olive oil and egg whites. lemon brightens your skin and helps get rid of brownish areas like scars, under arms, etc. sugar is a good exfoliant and makes your skin very smooth. honey moisturizes your skin and soothes it. yoghurt does everything, just try it!! olive oil moisturizes and egg whites are great for thightening your skin :) you can use the yolks as a moisture mask also.

I use a lemon for 3 or 4 days and then stop in different intervals. My skin has a tendency to become immune to different techniques. At the same time, I don't really have acne, just minor breakouts and blackheads. What the lemon juice is amazing for is my hyper pigmentation. A mark that will last three months goes away in a week. Highly recommend this, especially if you have oily skin.

Also, It makes your skin smell and feel great!
