Yes Tyson in his prime had crazy power like alot of HW's but he was more muscular and smaller and always planted his feet before power shots he was good, but half of his fight wins were against bums with more losses than wins. You love him because he was American I don't rate him as a legend he was no role model.

Douglas was never able to repeat what he did to Tyson. He got whacked by Holyfield in his first title defence & then disappeared into obscurity. The classic example of the one-hit wonder who got lucky. Really lucky. Not many people know or care to remember Tyson actually floored Douglas in the 8th round & the ref gave him a suspiciously very long count for him to get up. After prison - Mike was never the same. By the time Lewis got to him- well he was clearly a shot fighter. Well past it.

Spinks, Biggs, TNT, Bruno etc were all the best contenders at the time and were put in front of Mike and he wiped them all out- is that his fault ? No ! He never ducked anyone. Just because he destroyed them it doesn't mean they were poor fighers or " tomato can has beens" as was so eloquently put. Tysons biggest defeat was not in the ring. It was against the US legal system after that bitch falsley accused him of rape. If he didn't go to prison he would have smashed Holyfield in, regained the title and reasserted his supremacy in the heavyweight division have no doubts about that. He also looked like shit against Tillis, Bonecrusher, and Tucker. You Tyson fans immortalize him for his high light KO's against has been and tomato cans. Spinks wasn't that impressive considering his long layoff and him not being a true Heavyweight
