  • I hold my yarn as you do and was having a terrible time trying to make a bobble because the teacher holds her yarn in the right hand so she couldn't really help me. Your video did the trick! It was so easy! Thank you

  • Hello from snowy Switzerland.

Thank you for sharing your know how.

There is just one problem, I hold the thread with the right hand... I know I could just watch and try it in reverse but I cannot...

Sorry to bother you. Do you know someone who could help me?

    Take care.

    Stephanie, Switzerland

  • i just started knitting so it probably looks normal to a pro but I love the way you knit!

  • You're the first person I've seen who purls the same way I do. That's very reassuring! I was afraid maybe I was doing something wrong but it's the only way that felt "right" to me and it appeared that the resulting loop was all oriented the correct way. Nice to see someone else doing it that way too so I know that my technique is "right!" I'm new at this still. :)

  • oh wow this is neat!

    =]

  • thank you

  • wow, that does seem like it would work.

question: when you flip your work over..is that a purl stich? it looks kind of odd/different from a normal purl..

  • This is the same way I purl. I was worried I was doing it wrong since I've never seen anyone do it the same way before. I learned how to crochet when I was young & figured out it's much faster & easier to dip the hook into the yarn instead of using my hand to do a yo. When I was first learning to purl, it felt very awkward but got the hang of it once I realized I could dip & scoop instead of pulling the yarn around by hand. Glad to see someone else doing it this way - I feel validated! :)

  • thank you for the good video

  • Yah I got it!!! This is a fun stich :D

  • stitch

  • easy???

  • Wonderful, very nice, thank you for sharing :)

  • huh?what?

  • its too hard!!! i cant do it!

  • Thank you. ^_^

  • I don't even know what a bobble is lol

  • lol ur not the only one.

  • i need a video on how to kint altogether

  • Sweeeeeeeet, I got it!

  • Thank you for put this clip on you tube! I think this is an easier way to knit the bobble than the one my pattern calls for!! THANK YOU!
