As a musician in a band I can appreciate what Ben is saying in this song. It's hard to have both a woman and a music career when you tour. Almost impossible to have a real relationship with a girl. All you really have is the music. At some point you make a decision to choose between the two and it's heartbreaking. But it makes for a great lyrically written song like this one.

just saw them last friday in kalamazoo,didn't know much of them but my friend recommended them...they were amazing! got to meet ben after the show..hes a very cool guy,had a drink with him and got a picture as well..,i'm definitely a big fan now,the small venue made for a very energetic show..he is very approachable,my friend was nervous to ask for a picture but he was very nice and took time to talk to lots of people,even the very drunk ones :)
