  • Congratulations on completing your fast. Your calm demeanor was very soothing to watch, and I appreciate your care and caution on breaking your fast. It's a very responsible way to show the world how to do it properly as well. I'm starting my fast in 2 days.

  • @CodTacticsGaming the easiest healthy way to start losing weight, is to just go on an all fruit diet. or you can have mostly fruit and some veggies. You dont want to begin detoxing on water fasting right away.. i was 170 and just ate all fruit. 3 months later i was 115 lbs

    True story. But I would like to say I find the idea of fasting and cleanses and such very interesting, and I would like to try it, but I'm really more of a "everything in moderation" kind of guy. I think it's important to have a little bit of everything in life, and to experience a good deal of what life has to offer.

  • i want to do a water fast too, but what kind of health benefits you are talking about, if you look like a walking corpse with no energy and life in your eyes. maybe one of your bad days. sorry if i offended you, did not mean it. perhaps you could clarify.

  • U could never do this fast and do any regular work. 1-2 weeks i can understand but a month is crazy.

  • All you claiming to go on a "fast" - your juice fast are pansies. I'm going on a water fast for as long as I can possibly go. I weigh 147, 5'11". Real way to fast is by water, juice is for pansies. You gotta tough out the potassium pains :D

  • @SummerGameProject , um what? This is the breaking the 26 day fast video. The fast is broken with juice. Having said that, a juice fast on Pansies sounds purpalicious and sweet.

  • Recently, I went 23 days on distilled water, and now I do a Lemon Water fast, and depending how I do that I'll do a Master Cleanse; and then I go into a Juice fast. The odd day I would go on a Dry fast, but when I break my fasting I'll feed off pureed fruits and veggies before going on solid foods.

  • @whiteorchidlove WATER OBVIOUSLY! When you urinate you excrete wastes. Besides, im on my third day and i had a bowel movement (weird to think that it was stuck in my intestine for 3 days). Since now the body doesnt have food it can focus most energy on getting rid of toxins by any means necessary.Out of the small intestine, lungs and other places through means such as sweat, urine, breathe, feces etc.

  • "it's an interesting feeling" You're hilarious. I'm on day two of my water fast. It's a little hard. But I'm keeping up. I feel a little feverish, not sure if this is normal. The only thing I'm scared about is ending my fast, & getting a stomach ache...and eventually puking. Wouldn't want that now would we. Good to see that you were still doing okay ending your fast after a couple of hours. Wish me luck!

  • Everyone PAY ATTENTION: When people put the body in a cycle of exercise, or yoga, tai chi, qi gong, etc, the body gains energy. Some people who stick to it enough get to the point of not needing to eat or drink, believe it or not. It's called breatharianism, it's not starvation or anorexia because you have to really train the body to be highly energetic... plus, cleansing helps... I favorited key videos for those interested, especially Jericho Sunfire check out his story it will make more sense

  • You say you 'flush out toxins' but when you eat your body will only absorbs the things it needs (and yes if you are eating alot of fat, your body will think you need it so it'll store it) but it will 'flush out the toxins' anyway, thats why you poo. Your poo is waste that your body doesn't want and every 2 days or so your intestines limning rip off and are excreted as poo and a new clean layer is formed. If you don't eat food, what do you think will help carry this matter out of your body?

  • Do you worry at al about your metabolism slowing down for the long run. That seems to be my main concern, for my own fasting ventures. I'm about 265 LBS and I'd like to take a 10 day water fast head on, however I am concerned that I will gain more than I lost. It seems that lay people are so heavily concerned with fasting being so extremely dangerous... I don't recall any issues the last time I fasted. Any thoughts?

  • I don't know the beginning of your fast, because I was just curious in this video.. I wanted to know because of your symptoms if you added a little sea salt to your water while you were fasting.

    When I broke my mostly water fast, I noticed that I immediately had to go to the bathroom.

    I didn't feel nauseous on breaking my last fast, I did drink orange juice also. It has restored my health, my kidneys are much better AND I ditched asthma. It is a renewal of health. Best wishes.

  • I think because the pulp will hold onto the toxins you're still releasing. Thanks for your video on breaking the fast, I'm breaking a 12 day water fast. For sure you are supposed to stay close to your bed. If I try to sweep and clean up, I get out of breath and heart racing, palpitations too. Just take it easy, that means no going out shooting video! It's so hard because we feel so great that we want to get out. Thanks

  • just a word of warning even though I'm no expert, food increase should be gradual. I'm on my 2nd day of fasting

  • o kay in less than 24 hr i have gone from unable to break my 2o day fast because i kept chucking up being rushed to A&E or emergency my legs went numb my lower back hurt in weird no pain pain and my hart felt wrong turns out the otherwise healthy 27 year old was having a cardiac episode tacicardic and thready with a temperature of 39.9 C or 103.83 F to put it mildly i felt crap. it was not serious it did feel serious so i ended my fast eventually with

    morphine&anti nausea injections and the best tasting juice that was not organic but still good. i would do it again even with all the drama but next time i would be ready for my body not to want the food an injection of anti nausea stuff when i wanted to end the fast almost two days earlier would have prevented all the drama with my hart, and to be honest it scared the crap out of me

  • You do know that dehydrated vegetables are not raw. I don't think there is any need to be raw, but just saying.

  • dehydrated veggies/fruits and other things can be raw if they are dried at under a certain temp. That temp is an arguement among raw foodists, personally I don't dehydrate over 110 degrees.

  • If you are moving towards raw vegan try 80/10/10RV now that you have reset the clock as it were, before you retrain the system to love the fats and salts.

    And it's because you're not getting the nutrition you need. Fasting can lead to something brutal. And I'd think that you would know, because you always say in your videos how exhausted you get and how nautious you get and what not.

    I fasted for my health, for spiritual reasons and to reset my body to help me eat better foods.

  • Are you serious? Tell me how it is healthy? And on't say it detoxes the body. There is no such thing. Your body detoxes itself. I hope you don't believe in liver cleanses or "foot pads" that supposable cleans the body. You also said your heartbeat was off. Is that healthy? Your kidneys are taking a beating. I love to see your blood work after a fast. Please post it if you got before and after blood work.

  • my body detoxes when I feed it the right things, give it the right rest... It's been an 8 year process for me. I'll try to talk about this in my next video.

    You might be right, I'm just going to weight my intuition against blood work and observe closely

  • @yogayak good for you. ive just juicefasted for 21 days, and cant wait to try a waterfast ( not for as long as you have), but indeed, fasting is a beautiful way to reconnect with your body. More power to you! Since i broke my fast, for a while i was really only into fruits, but yesterday i did a lot of nuts and other fats, and you really notice the difference in your mental state after that. So again, more pwer to you!
