The hippies are by far the best team I have ever seen run the race up until season 14. I haven't watched that one yet, but I heard about a particular team on that one. They had a warm and open demeanor to all cultures they visited and were consistently top two for the most part. And were funny and the way approached the game, I don't think they ever let the pressure get to them. They enjoyed it and approached it with an amazing attitude. Best racers in the first thirteen seasons imo.
This is the first season of TAR that I've watched (and only form a middle). And then I've just fallen in love with the hippies. I wanted to watch all of previous seasons. But I was really afraid of watching this one. I just didn't want to lose my positive feelings about BJ&Tyler. Gues what happened? I loved them even more in the beginning legs and then I payed more attention on BJ and he's my new personal idol ;D TTOW

I knew BJ and Tyler would win when I saw the final roadblock. But it was REALLY close. I don't think that Eric and Jeremy were poor sports--it must have been tremendously disappointing for them. I thought that they were very good-natured about it.

Think it's PERFECT!!! They were the only team that actually appreciated every country they stopped in. They took time to be nice to the locals and sucked in as much of the different cultures they could, while still racing their asses off. GOOD WIN!!!

i do love the hippies, but was a little disappointed that they dropped a flag on the ground. i know they needed to be fast, but up until that point they had been so respectful of other countries and cultures, and it wouldve been nice to keep that up until the very end... too bad for ray/yo. oh well, at least it wasnt the frats. they take themselves too seriously!
i had to give a speech at my high school graduation back in '06 and i spoke about the hippies and their awesome outlook on life as demonstrated throughout the race...my family members in the audience even held up a "TTOW" sign when i first went up to the microphone so i wouldn't be nervous. love bj and tyler!
Amazing winners! They are not just great racer but they also love every people in every country they've been and adapted to each cultures. it felt good that they won. I have been rooting for them since the beginning.
the hippies, uchenna and joyce, and chip and kim are my favorite winners ever. they are HUGE examples of what the race is all about... amazing people who ran an amazing race.
Although I was cheering for Ray and Yolanda, I can't be upset with the hippies winning, they were competitive yet courteous , and were very open to learning about the different cultures in the various countries...definitely one of the best teams ever on this show
I wished that frat boys would have won.... and in that case All-Stars wouldn't have been such a dreadful season with a dreadful winner, because producers won't cast winners unless they think the winners won't win again.
If BJ & Tyler didn't win, they would've replaced Eric & Dainelle and it would've been a way better season.

Hip Hip Hooray! I truly love their enthusiasm. they bring so much humour. n much as i dislike the frat boys at the start- they were a good team- gd partnership n competitive. Both teams brought alot of energy. this is one of the best seasons. Peace (^^)
Why these two weren't picked for the all-stars really ticked me off! They should been there rather than some of the other teams. (hint, hint, Rob and Amber!)
hippies are sentimental and carefree. they are fun to be around and best of all they are none judgmental people but i wouldn't want to look or dress like 'em. glad they won.
the hippies deserved to win. I really like that they enjoy the whole traveling and all the countries they saw.
I also feel kind of bad for Eric and Jeremy as they were one of the strongest teams ever on TAR and can see them easily blowing out the competition on some other seasons. They are by far the strongest team never to win.

They soooooo didnt deserve to win! Hello? They were eliminated TWICE, they lied and tried to trick others and they yielded! Eric and Jeremy should have won,they were really consistent throughout the race and were the best overall...SHAME!
Absolutely right! The Frats definitely deserved it! The only bad thing they did was the cab canceling which, they admitted to, and they didn't bicker/fight ever! GO FRAT BOYS!!!!!!!!!!

This one of the best final tasks becuse it envolved the entire race and you felt they earned the win instead of luck of a plane or taxi ride. In the past the other final tasks were so simple they were pointless.
I watched season 5 season 6, and half of 7 this season 9 by far is the better of those three. This battle with the frat boys and the hippe's was great from start too finish. I have to agree with you the Frat's were the better team they just got caught on a snafu at the end. But the Hippies were a great team too and I'm happy for them

Everyone maybe happy to see the Hippies to win. But as of me, it was an upset, because I wanted Eric & Jeremy to win, because they are more deserving. But in the last Roadblock, Eric had a bad luck while arranging flag and in the end, BJ & Tyler made an undeserving victory after saved by NEL twice.
I know national flags very well so this roadblock looks like it was made for me. I think I´d have it done in 2 minutes =D))) Anyway, I´m really glad that they won, I really hated the FRAT BOYS...

Well, what you call being "SAVED"is part of the game too. Actually that's the reason because of which I think they deserve it. They got up from this difficult situation twice. In the 5th or the 7th season something similar happen at the end with Joyce in Buchanan.
If this kind of thing did not happen the game would not be so entertaining.
the thing is this... no other team that has been saved twice by a non-elimination has ever won the race. i just think that if you're so lousy to have to be saved TWICE, you're pretty damn undeserving.
Actually...Joyce & Uchenna from season 7 were victims of a non-elimination leg on the second to last leg of the race, and they ended up winning the 1 million dollars

This one of the best final tasks becuse it envolved the entire race and you felt they earned the win instead of luck of a plane or taxi ride. In the past the other final tasks were so simple they were pointless.

The Frat Boys deserved to win! The Hippies came last TWICE and shouldn't have even made the Final Three!!!

I watched season 5 season 6, and half of 7 this season 9 by far is the better of those three. This battle with the frat boys and the hippe's was great from start too finish. I have to agree with you the Frat's were the better team they just got caught on a snafu at the end. But the Hippies were a great team too and I'm happy for them

Its the good helping heart of hippies that won the race... they were the best helpers in TAR so far.

Everyone maybe happy to see the Hippies to win. But as of me, it was an upset, because I wanted Eric & Jeremy to win, because they are more deserving. But in the last Roadblock, Eric had a bad luck while arranging flag and in the end, BJ & Tyler made an undeserving victory after saved by NEL twice.
Anyway, congratulations BJ & Tyler.

this is the best TAR for me, and the first TAR i've ever watched...
actually the hippies were my bet, they are the hippiest and the best, they definitely deserve to win...
thanks for uploading this one, i've been trying to find videos of season 9 and 11 since December, and so i'm really thankful i found your videos. i'll watch season 11 next... my next favorite season coz eric and jeremy were my second bet for season 9 and eric is included in season 11 teaming up with danielle.

yeaaaaaaah!!!!! hurray to the winners! i almost cried when they finished first. their attitudes were the best throughout the whole entire race and they so deserved to win! LOVED this season's TAR.

I was also very happy when I saw the final in the first time. They deserved it soo much! =D))
Well, I haven´t found the links that I need for downloading and than uploading TAR1 - 4 and even TAR6 yet. But I´ll try to find them.
I already have some links for those episodes, but the videos are in very lame quality (even worse than here) so I won´t put them up here until I find some better ones.

Well, what you call being "SAVED"is part of the game too. Actually that's the reason because of which I think they deserve it. They got up from this difficult situation twice. In the 5th or the 7th season something similar happen at the end with Joyce in Buchanan.
If this kind of thing did not happen the game would not be so entertaining.

the thing is this... no other team that has been saved twice by a non-elimination has ever won the race. i just think that if you're so lousy to have to be saved TWICE, you're pretty damn undeserving.

Actually...Joyce & Uchenna from season 7 were victims of a non-elimination leg on the second to last leg of the race, and they ended up winning the 1 million dollars
