This is just simply incredible, to see so much positive energy being released from one place. Get wonderful chills just watching the video, being there in the flesh would be life changing to say the least.

Ron Wood tells Britain's Uncut magazine: "(We played) at the Oakland Coliseum. Al Anderson, Marley's guitarist, had his guitar stolen and I was living in Mandeville Canyon in L.A., so I flew over and took him a new one. Al asked if I wanted to play that night. I thought it should be cleared with Bob Marley first, but Al said it would be find and took me in to meet him.

"Marley didn't say much, he just looked at me as if to say, 'If you can cut it, you're OK. If you can't, I'm throwing you off the stage.' I ended up doing the encore which lasted about an hour and I got the nod from Marley during the set, which was very satisfying. After the gig we played football and had a huge spliff."

This has been my favourite BMW concert to listen to,so seeing it is even better. Many thanks.Also, does anybody know how come the sound guy is dubbing up this show , whiichis why I love it,but not any other show that I can find.Would be interested to know..Thanks again ,love,Rich.

Dub-shows happend rarely, cant tell why but this is one is just great. Check Santa Barbara 1978 as well. There are some other 1979-shows like Chicago that have dub effects, though not as heavy like this one.
