any guides on how to back up existing rom (verizon crap) and then flashes to Android 4 ? How would one go back to the original verizon rom if things don't go your way?

@jebussaves1 there's lots of guides on xda or rootzwiki. You can easily "hack" this phone by hooking it up to a PC and using a program called Odin. It's a Samsung tool for flashing/installing various software bits to your phone. You can flash a recovery, back up all the stock VZW crap software (which there are already complete stock flashes out there...) and then wipe everything and flash this ROM from that recovery. It's a little more technical than that, I'd recommend reading up a lot. :P

@4riom4 yes the su binary is in there, but he didn't package the SuperUser app from chainsdd. Long story short: yes it is, you just have to download SuperUser from the Market before doing any root activites
