  • One person got blasted to smithereens by infantry while fielding archers... :P

  • I don’t remember if Civ 4 has three colors of sea zones the way Civ 3 did, Rather than plot a blind path for your new caravel, will you have to avoid “open ocean” spaces (the deepest blue)?

I look forward to seeing how you manipulate a UN victory.

  • One time I played, my first settler and warrior were on a small, one tile width, peninsula. At the mouth of the peninsula? A mountain. godammit.

  • Why can't you build the UN yourself?

  • DUDE ur vids r awesome man. i'm glad civ 4 turned out so great. I miss the 'trade caravans' from civ2. At least they have the 'great merchant,' which functions much like the trade caravans used too; only they're much rarer.

  • Which wonder did you lose at 3:25? Taj Mahal?

  • talk louder

  • Great initiative, there's so much stuff you cant learn just by looking at a screenshot or loading a saved game. Thanks!

  • Hahaha...I wish I could beat deity. Immortal is probably my limit, especially if doing this at the same time. The only thing that went wrong with the spec city is that I got distracted and forgot about it.

  • Thanks for these videos, very informative. However, for a beginner CIv 4 player (like me), some things aren´t necessarily that obvious (like what went wrong with that 'specialist-city' to the east). Oh, and please make more videos, especially on higher difficulties (Deity on some point maybe...). Different victory condition every time would be interesting, even though it might not allways work out.
