Can't you post clips of up to 10 minutes on Youtube? I would have much rather have heard the full ep, side one of which could have been posted here & side 2 on another clip
Johnny's tune may well have been posted on this site, though I can't find it.
Ah well, I'll get my fine toothed comb out and see if I can find the rest of the tracks
I saw this film in the Tivoli Wimborne Minster Dorset. I had a motorcycle just like the one Ray brooks rode in the film Some People. I prefered Carol Deen's version of the title song. Pity there are only two clips of the film. Certainly takes me back.
I was 16 when I first saw this movie at the Harringay Odion ( ABC? )( north London for those of you who don't know London.. think Arsenal !! )... just a kid ( working underaged at th Nags Head pub Wood Green ) and was super awed by the publicity as seen here, an over sized guy in jeans from waist down trailing a guitar. Thank you for posting this memory of you youth.
Reminds me of the young Mods and Rockers those days, I loved this song so much when I was a teenager in high school, still enjoy singing along and keep replaying at the age of grandma, ha ha.
Brings a lump to my throat.I saw it in 1962 when it first came out and I still love it and Angela Douglas to this day.I have tried to get an MP3 version of the EP so that I can put it on my iPod but alas I have not managed to find one.Thank you for posting.
I saw this movie when I was 12. The music and the voice of Valerie Mountain haunt me to this day. HOW I LOOOONG FOR THOSE DAYS: Next life I want to meet Valerie Mountain and fall in love
BABY this song gives me shivers down my spine. T`hose were the Real Heavenly Days. Why couldn`t the world keep on spinning the same way it used to? ECCLEBERRY TELL YOUR MUM I LOVE HER!!!!!
Cheers for this tune, I've not heard it for many moons! My beloved "James Dean look-alike" brother died on his motorbike in 1963 and as a young kid I inherited his record collection - and this was one of his "tunes" along with Eddie C etc. Many thanks...
Sorry about your brother. I knew this movie from late-night TV in New York and found it fascinating as well as a great picture, and a great tune. I don't know whatever happened to Valerie Mountain, but the Eagles, from Bristol, kept busy for most of the 1960's.

Great song. The rhythm of the music is very very amusing. Does anybody have this song lyrics? Can you give me a copy?

Me and a mate watched this film on TV in the 80's and still mention it to this day!!
I remember BSAer Bill and a girl shrinking her jeans in the bath!!
Didn't it have something to do with the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme??
Would love to watch it again - How can I get a copy - anyone??

Valerie is my mother, and she basically gave up music to raise me and my sister. This was a huge thrill to find on YouTube! Thanks very much!
