Although I am sympathetic to why LTTE started and what they were fighting for back in the 80s, they have become scum recently (no I am not Tamil). I visited Sri Lanka when they were celebrating one year of peace between LTTE and the government and being from India, I can say that the nicest South Asians are found in Sri Lanka. Actually India did support LTTE. South indian politicians fed LTTE from the beginning. MJR (a former learder) did everything including weapon training to LTTE. Former PM Indira Ghandhi supported LTTE in open. Once Javahalal Neru told that India does not like Sri Lanka to be considered as an independent country. Actually South India = LTTE.
