do the same experiment upside down and then use a capillary tube with the correct diameter to draw up more ferrofluid to the magnet, see if it over globulates and becomes to heavy to hold all of it to the magnet, sort of like a capillary ferrofluid fountain.
I think I just found a way to make perpetual motion work.
