Those bashing the Governor for that kind of talk remember this that if those people who choose to stay get stranded, then rescue workers have to risk their lives to save them. We see it all the time stupid and stubborn people put other peoples lives in danger and that is where I think his frustration was coming from. 1. "an thug" is incorrect, it should be "a thug." "An" is used before words that begin with a vowel and or words that begin with 'vowel sounds' such as 'hour'

2. "there" is an adverb meaning "in or at that place," I believe the word you're looking for is "their"
