Actually, the punishment will be proportional to the number of Olympian gods that we don't believe. If believe them in them all - you get a cookie. If you believe in none - its eternal damnation. Its safer to believe in at least one. I picked Aphrodite, and this is where I make my stand. Plus she is cute.

perhaps the question would be, what does it mean intelligent? using demagoguery and fooling people, just like "dr" hovind, and achieving specific goals, just like earning a living with such and similar methods, could still be described as intelligent. perhaps viciously intelligent. (crime doesnt pay off, "dr" hovind is serving his sentence).
