  • Ah ok, my home club is Sage Hill gun club in Reno, NV. Very nice club but the sporting clays courses here are few and far in between, and get old fast. I'll have to make it out there while im still on leave!

  • @Crich775 There is another course in the bay area (north bay). It is called Birds Landing outside of Fairfield. I have never been up there because it is about 40 minutes further that CVSC. I am planning on getting up there this fall for a Pheasant hunt though. If you are ever in the area and need a shooting partner let me know. I try to get out every other week in the summer.

  • How is coyote valley? Im only a few hours away from there.

  • @Crich775 Coyote Valley is an awesome Sporting Clays course. They also have 2 skeet ranges and a trap range. There are 18 stations for standard sporting clays and I believe 13 stations on the Mountain Course which requires a guide (I have never shot the mountain course). They have a great clubhouse and patio, offer lunches on the weekends, and have a fully stocked pro shop. The course is 40 minutes away for me, but I would drive 2 hours for an occasional shoot.
