My upstairs neighbor is handicapped and overweight. He makes noise every waking moment and I am a veteran with PTSD. I have reported him to management and even called apartment security and NOTHING. Talking to him does nothing. He is an inconsiderate ASSHOLE. I don't care if he is deemed "SLOW". I pay rent just like everyone else here. There is even a noise clause in out Apartment Lease and I brought this up in a formal and polite letter and nothing has been done.

Yup it sucks not being able to read or watch tv comfortably from 7am to 7pm every day for like 5 years straight. They work on Saturdays and Sundays all the time too. Worst part is you cant make noise complaints about construction during normal business hours. oh ya, and I work from home...FML.
Try giving them a fuckn foot up there fuckn ass! If that dont work get out your assult rifles and have a party, dont forget to invite the armour pearcing bullits. have fun!

He can't expect you to be quiet. Your vehicle should not be the same as let's say loud music at 2 am in the morning. He has no right legally to complain.
As Nancy Grace would say, "BS!" I have tried the nice approach, the police calling over 25 times, landlord complaints and now I am taking jerk face to court and have filed a formal nusiance complaint. It does work on some level, what she is saying, but it is a long road to peace.
Yeah things don't go that way all the time. In fact our neighbours have been told multiple times about the fireworks at 1:30 in the morning (months after guyfawkes - illegal), dogs yapping at all hours of the day and night and they actually made it worse - they don't care whatsoever. Worse, I think they have ties to gangs so I don't think we can do much else, except move ourselves :(

Its nearly always worst for someone living below someone elses apartment. Luckily i live above but my neighbours downstairs are noisy on a weekend. And they only go out to work or grocery shop, so mass amounts of alcohol are consumed and sometimes things get thrown about as they argue and kick the shit out of one an other. My neighbor before that was a deaf old man who used to have his tv on at noise levels similar to a ozzy ozbourne concert while well after midnight! He was a good guy though
my neighbors dont do the tv loude or stuff like that, i live below them in an apartment and they drag something like a heavy wooden table around and hammer stuff all f***** day, we confronted them, they started swearing and us in the hallway for 15mins non stop till 12.05midnight, they wake me u at 9am, move chairs around every few mins and stop me from sleeping till after midnight for a month now, worlds not fair, police wont do crap
Police havent done shit for me. This stank bitch who lives above me is CONSTANTLY blasting her music in my apartment and im utterly sick of it. I really dont enjoy the free reggae and hip hop concerts she gives me everyday.Its ridiculous the landlord does nothing and the police just show up and act nice "uhhh i know your having a good time but turn it down a lil" and yeah they will turn it down ...but i still hear the bass thumping in my apartment!It's crazy
You got that right totse.police are good for shit if they can't hear it. It make us look like idiots for calling i bet the neighbors look out the window and when they see the police show up they all of a sudden behave them selves until they leave then start in again.the only thing that will stop a noisey neighbor is to shoot them.
