With all the anymosity I had toward Tall Brooklyn about Baumgarten , we actually agree on this one. He is unbelievable. But let me ask u this, is Baumgarten better than this Leitner?

i like a chazzan that knows the tfilahs. not someone who just sings some composed song in jewish music. this man really knows and appreciated the tfilah. you can hear it and see it in his delivery. that is what makes a real chazzan. not these highly advertised young shmeggegies hitting the market who arent any good at all.

as a baal tfilah i really enjoyed this. although i never heard of this man he is great.

He is surely better than Helfgott in "Yiddishe feeling" althoughHelfgot has a more Legatto operatic tenor, at the high notes leitner is far more poewrfull and stunning.

He reminds me of David kussovitzky. What Chassid is he? and why not start giving Concerts?
