I think the OP has a lot of unjust judgment to pass along to Charice...let's all remember she broke out as an adolescent international youtube sensation...and her greatest gift was her ability to mimick the strength in others and emulate their passion in the songs...just because she hit the note differently let's all notice that the strength and power are still there...but also keep in mind she has hit puberty and she is maturing as a singer....ask Celine Dion and Whitney if you don't believe me
she is trying to save her voice as much as possible to avoid losing it when she reach her maturity age of 20+. No one is perfect there's just comes a time when you are off and there's no exception in singing. Just pray for her guys and continue supporting her :)

Her voice is finally maturing just like her style. At the end of the day, she is not losing her voice. It is just maturing. Moreover, she is gearing her voice for POP and R&B not ballads as ballads do not sell.
ones u can hit a high note , it is possible for you to reach that high note , .. so she's not straining her voice or however you guys call it .. so im pretty sure she aint losing her voice.. she's just singing the songs on an 'easier' way .. thats what i would do if i had such a an amazing voice, she alrdy proofed she can hit those notes anyway =)

even Adele who is the most in demand right now cancelled some of her own tour because she is having throat surgery. Having laryngitis didn't stop her for doing some of her shows too. But knowing that she's been constantly singing every week all day everyday, recording songs, doing concerts, radio shows, commercials, shooting movies, travelling every where, having no breaks at all. SINCE 2007 you know? She's got a lot her in her plate. Sometimes she even performs when she's sick. Her voice is way too over used. Especially with the kind of songs she sings. She has all the rights to lower it down.
