It is funny that back then 30,000 was lot of money for a hospital and everything that goes with it. And nowadays 30 grand is nothing for a hospital stay. For me personally I was in and out of the hospital from 1995 to 2001 and with insurance it cost my parents close to 1/2 a mil.
