I can't help but notice how worn out and miserable Kate looks while Sawyer looks so DAMN HOT! It's true for the whole of season 5, Sawyer is refreshed and happy while Kate seems miserable.

I think it's pretty clear. Jack and Kate had their run, they lived together, they were raising a child together, how much better can it be for a ship? I mean, they were a family. But it DIDN'T work, it's obvious that it's OVER. They don't have anything for each other anymore.
