The dark blue with silver sparkles on the dresses represents the dark night sky of the opening song, "On this night of a thousand stars" while the light blue represents the blue of the Argentinian flag. So the theme of the musical Evita--one of Madonna's early starring roles--is repeated through the music and the history of Evita.

NOt a big fan of their dresses/ music and thought it was kinda of boring but congrats to you, two very precise and sharp performances :)
