Doctors at the end of the day are just human and there are some which treat the person as a whole and what is best for them. There are others that just treat the symptoms with pharmaceutical drugs as it is easier for them. Plus they get perks for using selected drugs.
Drugs should be a last resort but many prescribe like there is no tomorrow.

I got a REALLY bad flu in 1978 . Worse than how people describe the new flu. So I googled it. There was the Russian flu epidemic from 1977-1978. It started at Fort Dix (!) and killed someone there. It mostly hit children and young adults. It was an H1N1 flu.
I have not gotten a single flu since then. That was 31 years ago, and I've only gotten one flu shot in all that time. Is there anyone else here who got a flu in 1977-1978 and hasn't gotten a flu since then?

Actually the doctor who told me about the likely H1N1 lives in a city where 2500 students at a university got it within a couple of weeks. WSU. They have about the higest on-campus population in the country. Most students live in dorms and Greek houses. Close contact. My dr told me about tthat too.

With respect to your questions and comments melora72 I really think you need to research for yourself.
Doctors at the end of the day are just human and there are some which treat the person as a whole and what is best for them. There are others that just treat the symptoms with pharmaceutical drugs as it is easier for them. Plus they get perks for using selected drugs.
Drugs should be a last resort but many prescribe like there is no tomorrow.

The particular doctor is not my md, he can't prescribe meds for me so that was not a motive. You are right that he could be mistaken. I think he really believed what he told me, but he's not infallible.
But a worldwide plot to kill off or sterilize a large part of the population? I'm sorry. I've lived through so many end of the worlds that didn't come true. It's made me skeptical.
