AND how would touchin your head to the floor give you neck problems? first off i didnt say slam youre head on the floor, second, even if you were to put weight on your neck, it wont fuck it up.i do bridges every other day for a half hour and my neck is fine, even tho i support my entire body with it every other day

  • He isn't going down to the floor,hes leaning heavily on the wall, one can understand if it was for some support but this is too much and his arms were far apart during the normal pushups. I didn't intend to troll but if he really did them and with proper form one would imagine his muscles would be more striated.

  • his hands are to far apart on the normal push ups. Marine Corps push up is hands shoulder length apart then you go down until your face is at the deck then back up, repeat till death feels near... not saying he intended to do Marine Corps push ups but they are slightly harder

  • hand stand pushups give me a headache normal ones do me just fine if you do enough you get the same amount of uper body workout

  • Hes leaning against something, this makes handstand pushups 100% easier as your stabilization/balance muscles don't come into play, the wall also takes a slight amount of the weight away as your feet are putting force on it.

  • that is impressive I understand why your doing quick reps but you should try doing slower reps with a fuller range of motion for a "better" shoulder workout also if you work on your balance you can do them without a door for support and those work even more muscles.

  • those handstands are a joke.  first of all your arm width is waaaay way out, try bringing them in a couple inches and see how many you can do. at the same time, because your arms are so far out, your head can barely go down. you dip about 4 inches each rep.

    poor form, you aren't working much out doing them like that, trust me.

    Since you can do so many reg. handstand push-ups. This variation might be challenging because its ALOT harder. Its tricky at first. try doing them upsidedown push-ups on your nuckles. Its really tricky because you have to balance yourself with a smaller, less controled point of contact to the floor. It will strengthen wrists work your handstand muscles in a different way, plus the increase stress on bones which will make them stronger, minimizing injury when punching

  • he's strong. 43 handstands are proper form. Speed comes from strength. Doing it slowly does not train explosive strength that you need for speed, which is why most bodybuilders can't do anything but lift weights

  • @foxtrotenvoy If you can actually do handstand push ups then you will know from first hand experience that fast HS pushups are about 50 times easier than slow and controlled. Same with normal pushups.

I always laugh about the guys which are proud of their 40 Push ups, but they are not able to do them right. 1) Get down until your nose nearly hits the floor. 2) You ahve to strength your back, otherwise youre going to damage it. 3) Dont do them too fast. 10 slow ones give you more than 30 fast ones. Of course you train your swiftness, but you dont gain that much muscles.

  • Yes you deff need to get that 90 degree angle when doing hand stand push ups. it will rip your shoulders hard core and give them great definition. It's hard to do 20 when you do them correctly breaking the 90 degree mark.

  • If you do 100 pushups. 10 pushups at a time, change from short to wide grips, With 10 seconds rest in between. Do this each day, and you should be doing 100 straight pushups in weeks. I did that, and went from 30 at one time, to 100 at a time. Just a suggestion though.
