@KylesFavoriteJams Not really, the 700r4's have a pretty low 1st gear and i had the gears switched from stock 3.42 to 3.73:1. Now I certainly wouldn't call it a fast truck, about 80-85 mph tops with the lower gear set. But I never had any trouble getting around in it.

@PearlDrummer181 Truck had stock manifolds and y-pipe, 3" cat into Flowmaster 3" single-in, 2.5" dual out 40-series muffler, 2.5" pipes out the back. Did sound pretty meaty for a stock 305!

I had the same thing cept it had the 3 speed with a 305. That truck was a tank and despite the rust there wasnt a day that went by it would not start.

nice blazer but needs wheel spacers on the back...so the blazer dont dog paddle off road ...all blazer and jimmy fullsize have a 3 inch more narrow axle in rear than front if you put the tires in sink makes the truck more capable offroad..if you have any questions i build chevys all the time ...my most favorite..good luck

i just got a 78' K5 for 600$. it needs a gasket for the transfer case adapter but thats it. we put in a high compression 350 and its spins 36 fun countrys with stock gears. oh and you got a great deal for 900$

the mismatched gears in the axles could have been purposely done because higher gears in the front can pull it around in 4wd.

i got mine for 500 and it dont have rust around the fenders its in excellent condition all i have to do is take all the parts out of the back of it and slap them on the block but seriously thats some bad rust tou got screwd its gonna spread like herpes

Dude that tuck looks clean as hell, did u ever think of a .35 bore 454 with 4:33 gears? I have a 73 K5 wish basically that set up, 4 inch lift an i have had 38's under her. Never had a prob rubbing unless a lashed on her. Gas milage aint bad either, I get probably 16 mpg. 13 if i cruise 80 mph. But very nice for 900. Bravo

I drive an 84 K-10 truck, standard cab, long box. I love it! i got it for 1000 and it runs great. I want to put flex-a-form fiberglass leaf springs on it for a 3" lift. I have to keep it moderate cuz its still my every day truck. Looks good, man.

You didn't do bad at all. I bought 2 Blazers. The first one I bought, I got it for $550 and also did a engine swap it it. The second I bought, got it for $900 also but it came with a big block 454. You didn't do bad at all. Good luck with it.

Lol i sold my Chevy "On display picture" for $1,500 an barely bought a 1984 Blazer. The undercareage is all for off roading. I don't know the axels yet an it has a 90s 350 fuel injection engine. But yeah nice truck..Mines a 4inch lift as well with 35 tires. Black too.

dang...i need a 350 in mine...but maybe later. Till my 305 dies. I wish i could find deals like that around here. I got mine for 1500 with 4in lift and 33 thornbirds already so i guess its worth it. flowmasters and headers for another 100. Parts are so cheap for these trucks its awsome.

sweet truck.. mines got a 350 in it,, 700r tranny, dana 44 front 12 bolt rear,, 4 inch lift 35" tires. im goin up to 10 inch lift with 40" boggers in a cupple years when i can afford it.. but the thing is unstopable as it it.. love the sound of yours though.. is it only a 305??

No, I believe it's stock. It may have been an option with the Silverado pkg. I've seen other Blazers with the sliding glass, but most are solid.

I bought a used set of 35x12.5x15" BFG All-Terrains. You can fit 35's without rubbing, or you can fit up to 38.5's with cutout flares.
