  • Awesome vid bro! Love the sound of the VFR! I got one myself! Also a 750 from 1990! Wich year is yours?

  • love this video, this vfr sounds exactly like my 87 vfr750 did

    damn i loved that bike

    snarf SNARF SNARFFFFFFFFFFFF

  • Love my vfr but would shift bit more i guess like furtheron in the road more reffs :-);-)

  • I love living in the lakes! :-) Awesome fun on the NC30! :-)

  • Goosebumps man! GOOSEBUMPS!

  • Beware the killer sheep!

  • Great video. I have a 91 Honda VFR with a Tingate Aussie exhaust ... one of the best sounding machines in the world.

  • That's a great reason to be up at 5:00 am. Nice ride.

  • 3:29 .... damn sheep!

  • Where & how did you mount the camera?

It looks good & no vibrations.

  • camera mounted on an alloy cross brace I made and fitted into the inner screen lug-end caps. ( had to cut a slot in each one )

I'll send you a photo if you send me ( message me ) your email address.

  • this is my dream bike =]

first bike i went on( was only 11)

    lol

    And loved it since

  • I enjoyed the video, looked like you were having some fun. :)

    Good on ya mate.

  • This V-4 engine in the VFR sound's like the old P-261 BRM in the film Grand Prix with James Garner driving,

I mean what a noise what mechanical music,

  • Dear God what a noise,

I mean small chevy V-8 sound in a bike thats got looks and performance and savvy,

with those overhead cams whining away wooooow,

    mann what music,

  • with engine like that, who needs music

  • Nice sound and great road.

Greets from a fellow vfr owner.

  • Fun to watch.

Double apex at 2:25 looks like a doosie!

  • I'll bet bikers from Norfolk are jealous as hell when they see a road like this. Beautiful!

  • Thank you for a wonderful clip... Love the sound of the V4. Im out of here... gonna go for a ride on my Kawasaki Versys =)

  • good on yer for being able to have a good time without riding like a villain. Paid good dividends when those Scottish lasses wandered out into the road!

  • i first rode this road between penrithand hexam last summer and thought it was the best road i've ever ridden

i sent it to superbike mag and they printed it! i won a t-shirt which i was happy with but now they give a £500 sat nav for the riders route feature :( should have saved it!

need a video from a sunny day covering the whole length of this road

i was on my sv650s and spent basically 3 days on the road (and surrounding roads)

  • Overall, a bit of a joy. NIce.

  • where was the camera and how did you fix it?

i m going to make a movie like yours but have problems fixing the camera.

  • i had to cycle up that on the c2c!!!

  • It`s that first part where the bike just starts to move that sounds absolutely awesome, best sounding motorcycle ever.

  • Nice!

  • Nice video and nice exhaust sound. Btw this bike is a 180 deg or 360 deg crank?

  • This bike is a 360 deg crank right?

  • nice video. Amazing how that engine sound like a nascar onboard in high rpm - sweeet!!

  • Ha.. just you wait until I take the exhaust off for a very loud run up that hill :o)

I've ridden it wothout exhaust end can before and My oh My!! it's LOUD! Much MUCH louder than this video! heh heh. Ah we'll see... :o)

  • Like a little V8...

  • you need wipers on your camera lens.

  • Ha Ha yes.. it's the damn clouds you see... they make everything wet :)

Think i'm going to replace this vid soon with a faster one ( weather permitting )

  • It is a good V4 sound.

  • great vid what month where you there ?

  • Lol... i'm there every month...sometimes twice a week.... I live there! :)

  • you lucky sod i love the lakes im down the road in blackpool the pits but good for tits :)

  • LOl... not sure if I'd trade.. yay to ubundant breasticles, but nay to the smell of donkey pish and poop :o) Those Thompsons are robbin bastards too :o) roll on summer aye.

  • P.s open you tube twice and play walk this way in the background-I'm going out again now.

  • Very nice sound. My VFR800FI had a high level staintune and while gorgeous, was far too noisy. Definately prefer a prettier 750 next time.

  • VFR!!!!

Sounds the best...what pipes ya have??

  • OEM Honda downpipes and collector into quite rare :) stainless high-level linkpipe and finally out through an ART alloy oval end can. I have photo's but Youtube wont let me add the links! grrrrr!

  • Thanks man, vids like these help me to live thru the winter and wait the spring so I can get my RC36 back on the winding roads :)

  • I had my R36 out in the Snow last week(daily commute). Sod waiting for the spring :)

  • Great riding mate, that bike sounds gorgeous!!!

  • why thankyou Drifter.. :) see reply post above re sound.

    :o)

  • Nice ride........:)

    I have the VFR750 FH 1988

feel free to watch my vids:)

    stevo

  • oh my, that sheep made me poo myself!

  • I used to think that sheep were stupid. I know think they are not. I think they look stupid because they are actually doing high level math working out the exact timing to cross the road which is most likely to cause the approaching rider to soil his leathers.

  • LOL LOL LOL I think you could be right... although, I knew they where there.. it was my Jedi Instinct :o)

( hehheh actually I'd been up 10 mins prior to that run to check the road for debris etc )

  • nice going m8 looks like the roads down my way here in west wales.llandovery run and sugarloaf .got an vfr750 fl 1990 myself love riding it good vid m8

  • Good stuff,

Im yet another with a vfr! Was up that way last month on a rideout with a few from the honda vfr club, had rivers crossing the roads (was raining)! O-0

  • Hi Moodster heh heh yeah it gets that way up here! stabalizer wheels for the dry, armbands for the wet, and outrigger ski's for when it snows! lol! :)

  • Nice and empty roads + nice sounds = great video

  • Hi Applecart2000, my hometown ride out is Rivi Barn which is about 14 miles from home and all around there is some decent rides, when the weather is good Rivi gets really busy with bikers have you been?

  • nice one Applecart2000! I sold my 97 Vfr 750 last year!!

Do you ever go up to Devil's Bridge?

  • Hi blackpudscoffer, yes a few times when the weathers nice enough. I prefer hartside though coz it's closer. :o)

There's a great road from Alston to Middleton-in-Teesdale, plus the one from Alston to Brampton/Carlisle is quite good! ( i.e. fairly quiet, nice smooth road etc )

  • You dont need to be fast to enjoy yourself Im not a fast rider either I am IAM trained and the key is smooth progress Love the VFR I have an RC36 Nice one m8

  • Hi macpdm, I'm trying to get smoother, I still make those 'fixation' error's though! must look ahead.. LOOK AHEAD... dont look at that curb! lol! I'll drum it into myself eventually! :o)

  • nice one, you may not be the fastest but you certainly ain't the slowest! an the veefr sounds great!!!! pity about the mist!!!!

  • cheers blackpudscoffer! yes i know... mist/clouds due to time of day ( early morning ) and hence my careful progress... road was pretty cold. I'll do a faster and neater one when the weather picks up. :o)
